Smok AL85 Warming Problem

Hello,
I'm so new both in this forum and vaping. I bought smok AL85 just now and tried it but I cannot vape. The black part I should breathe through becomes increadibly hot and some little dots (like water drops on hot oil) comes out with smoke. What did I do wrong?

I checked youtube for some reviews before writing this and did exactly same as they did. I can send a video of the problem if you like.

I tried almost every single watt option from 35W to 55W. It's also setted to 0,4ohm.

when do you press the on button and when do you start to inhale? at higher wattages its a fine balance between inhaling and hitting the button to balance out the airflow to keep the coil from over heating the juice.

My friends also asked that and i tried 3 different ways before burning my lip
I started to inhale right after pressing, after 1 sec and after 2 secs. If I do it right away or after 1 sec I barely can inhale a full puf before it gets hot. if I do it after 2 secs I cannot touch it

Try a direct lung inhale. I don't think that mod is for mouth to lung.

Um, I am reluctant to mention something so basic, but since you are a new vaper.........

Do you have the air flow closed, wide open, or somewhere in between?

I've always run mine wide open, but just tried a few hits at various settings none of which were very hot.

Welcome and glad you joined. Don't feel too bad, you are not the first to leap into advanced vape gear and skip the fun of finding what works best for you.
You purchased an advanced starter kit. A starter kit does not necessarily equal a beginners kit. Not to worry, your battery is a very good mod. Might want to do non sub-ohm first (Over 1 ohm coil). You will get great flavor but the cloud production is not as intense as you can produce with sub ohm'g. You may want to invest in a different (beginners) tank that will fit your mod. Something like the Tron-S, with the CLR coils, the EHpro Kayfun Lite V2, Kayfun V5, and the Subtank Mini with the RBA.
Suggest you begin at the start of vaping and learn from the bottom up.
