Smok Alien 220w tc starter kit problem

I just bought i new smok alien 220w tc vape yesterday and was working completly fine, the next day the screen was glitching so i removed the batteries and put them back, i clicked 5 times to turn it back on but it didnt work, i tried charging it but still didnt work, i charged using the cable that it came with and i plugged the cable into the apple head/charger but still didnt open, please help

Do you the batteries inserted the correct way? On the lid to the battery door is the indication of which way each battery is to be placed.
