Thanks for your feedback, i have been looking at iPV's as they look to use alloy finishes instead of paint on a few models, seems to be hard finding the silver/ss/aluminum finish in stock at most places though, i will keep hunting and take a peek at some of the others you mentioned. Really trying to get away from paint, i get all ocd about the possibility of chipping paint getting in the air flow and what have you or find one with molded silicone exterior i had one from dovpo but it was a single 18650 mod that i no longer use for power reasons. The quest continues! Thanks again for the reply.
The silver Alien is painted, and doesn't really look like stainless steel at all.
Well that answers that, thank you for the response. Now to find either a metal finish or rubberized/silicone molded exterior. I know i can buy a case but they get juice in them and i dont like it condensation not even leaking gets in em or a drop here or there refilling them. I almost found one but it was the 3 battery Koopor was all alloy/metal finish looked nice but i dont want a 3 battery mod due to the size. Ill get there lol.
Thinking SMOK/Koopor, the XCUBE Ultra is available in stainless... it's good.
Hmm, i remember looking at the xcube ultra at one time a while back, can you confirm the stainless steel is actually metal? It looks it more so than the Alien "stainless steel" looked. I remember thining it was an interesting looking mod a while back.
I've got one... it's bare, brushed metal. A tetch prone to fingerprints and sxratches, but no flaking or chipping in sight...
Perfection, just ordered 2, and while i was at it got a couple of the Griffin 25 plus's
got the 25 with top air flow and got the regular. Yup love the griffin tank series! I am not worried about scratches so much as the paint flaking off. would rather a scratched to hell mod than chipped paint. Thank you thank you for the feedback.
