smok stick v9 not turning on

so i recently quit smoking and had the aegis mini but didnt like it i just went out and bought the smok stick v9 i charged it and when i click 5 times it wont turn on it dosent blink or anything do i need to buy a new one or how do i fix it

Did You try it more than once? If so take it back and have them give you one that works.

Does it have a screen? Is there a msg when you hit the fire button?

Try the 5 clicks in a faster or slower succession than the time-rate that didn't work. If you still experience this problem, follow @Sugar_and_Spice's advice.

Try to turn it on without the tank attached, if it turns on, then it could be a bad coil causing a short. If it still does not turn on, bring it back.

Should still be under warranty.
Could contact:
Local B&M Vape Shop (Visit)/someone who knows what their doing -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise (any authorized distributor).
