No,I have had it apart more times than I can count and I can not figure out what is causing the airflow to leak.

Changing the tank section would not cause that so I wrote that off. The only thing I can figure out is the leak s coming from the large airhole in the triple deck?

EDIT: Even packing the channels with cotton, and I mean tightly packed to block juice flow,it still leaks. I have even fluffed out the cotton to fill the channels and still leaks.
My RBA edition will be here today so I will try the triple deck. It's obviously not a wicking issue, I have heard that some of the triple decks don't screw down properly and that would cause juice to bypass everything and pour out the airflow pretty fast. I'd say the problem has to be the seal around the bottom.

Have you tried the dual deck ?

Yea dual deck works fine just a little condensation but not real leaking. The O-rings on the triple deck are all there, one at it's base and one at top. I really can't figure out the triple deck problem. Oh well,at least it does not have the melting insulator issue ,lol.

If the dual works, it has to be the deck or wicking, seeing how you stuffed the crap out of it, I can only say it's a faulty deck.
Buying another one would be the only way to be sure though and I guess your not prepared to do that.

You know what's great and a forgotten RTA, one that doesn't get enough credit. The Billow V3 Plus. Now that is an awesome tank and still one of my favorites.

That tank has never leaked, not even condensation.

I have the aromamizer plus on the way so I am sure that will help me forget the triple deck TFV12. (I hope?)

You also have that triple coil deck included? I did come across some info and reviews that the silicone(!!) insulators on it have melted after usage. This severe issue did hold me back on buying the RBA version. Most of the shops who will sell this setup are not able to inform me whether they send out these faulty decks, cannot inform me whether they will get revised ones,.. Not using PEEK insulators is just plain stupid

Guess I'll wait for reviews that will pour in once the item is being used by the masses.
i got the triple coil 1 and i absolutly love it the airflow is just perfect i havnt had any issues with it

I finally have the triple deck working without leaking. It was user error, instead of treating the two wicks for each slot as one, I did it as two and had a big gap between each cotton wick in the channel. Now I have them together as one wick in the channels and it is working like a dream now.

Took me long enough to figure it out.

Care to show with a detailed picture?

1 hole - 2 wicks. You treat these 2 wicks as one by twisting them together ?

I haven't really experienced any leaking so far , all I do is trimming the wicks to a point they can sit next to each other and share the 2 wicks in 1 hole

No not twisting them together. I was putting each wick into channel separately which left a big gap between the two. I should have been putting the wicks in together without separating out two wicks,if that makes since. Putting them in together it filled the channel with cotton instead of two wicks split apart.

Yea everyone likes the V8,I do not know why (technically I do) SMOK went so big with the V12??
I know a few smaller RTA's that will give you a similar vape to the V12. Going huge is not always a good choice. I do like the V12 though I also hate the amount of juice I am going thru this thing, too much. Even for a DIY'er like me. This RTA will be my out all day tank because I only need to bring a 5ml back up supply to fill t.

I had been using the Vaporesso Gemini tanks that have a ring to hold the cotton in which was a pain to take off and put on, Smok tanks make it so much easier to change coils and wick plus the SS coils are lasting so long. I have a Griffin 25 mini on the Pico 25 that is about the same as the Smok tank. I just ordered a Voopoo Drag, guess it'll take a month to get here.

I keep thinking about the notch coils I had bought some time ago, they were to large to fit into 22 mm tanks so I should still have them. I also learned you can do spot welding using a car battery which may come in handy
Spot Welding with a 12 volt car battery.
That sounds interesting and dangerous. Something I'd probably try to make NR-R-NR coil wires for a vertical build.
I'll wait on it till I run out of the wire I bought from FastTech.

I asked a relative who does welding and he said it can be done, I'm thinking of welding SS ribbon wire. Car jumper wires, copper rod, need to apply pressure on the welded spot, and something to act as a switch. Maybe I'll get to trying it some day. Working on warm water steeping at this time.
I always soak a freshly made mix in a pot of very hot water.
Take it out,,, shake it up,, and repeat 4-5 times.
The VG viscosity thins out (big time), and allows the flavoring to blend in quickly.
