One other problem I'm having is that it is not making contact on my IPV4. I tested it on my sigeili 75tc for fit and it is not making contact. They both say "Check Atomizer". I had to un-retire my Cloupor t-8 to use it. Those that it won't make contact are floating pins. Anyone else with that problem?

No problems on either one of my IPV4's

No contact problem on my 2 ipv4's or Sigelei 75.
I was able to adjust the pin on the IPV4 a bit and get contact. I noticed it had a screw so I tweaked it. I hope I didn't mess it up the IPV4 by doing that. The Sigelei has no screw for me to adjust so I think I'm out of luck. I noticed the pin on the tank is somewhat recessed. Could that be the problem?

I dont have a Segelei so couldnt tell you on that one. I remember the sales dude at the vape shop I bought my first IPV4 at showing me how the pin could be adjusted on it but never had to adjust it.

The pin can't be adjusted on it, its spring loaded. The person at the shop was being a ..... if they were trying to screw the spring loaded pin down.

I was really hesitant to buy a tank. Ive been a dripping die hard for quite a while, and tanks just didnt have the vape production, flavor, or airflow I wanted.

I finally ended my holdout with the TFV4. Been ripping on it for almost a month now. Havent touched my dripper since. The tri and quad coils were great. Surpassed my expectations. Once I figured out how to properly wick the damn thing, Ive been using the build deck exclusively, and my oh my, its fantastic. Running it with .22g Kanthal. Wrapped 5/6 around the screwdriver that comes with the TFV. I think is 3mm. Anyhow, it comes out to .35 ohms and absolutely rips. Running at 80w, the flavor and vape production is on par with my mutation. Zero regret. What an awesome tank.

Managed to wick my RBA for the 1st time without any leaking, seems a fine line to how much wick you need, I was either getting dry hits or leaking, or even both, I was close to giving up on it, but guess I just got it right last night, expected it to leak when went to refill it today, but not a drop has leaked, now just hope I can repeat it when I need to re-wick again.

I havent had any leaks. That said, I usually run a fairly fat wick. The trick seems to be trimming the wick flush with the build deck, fluffing it out, and then trimming the top of the wick so its shaped like this / \
That lets enough wick stay at the bottom to feed properly and stop leaks, but thins out at the top so it doesnt kink up and restrict juice flow.

Its pretty different from wicking an RBA

Rix, what mod are you running this on these days? Ive seen you used several with it. Im in the market for a new one. Deciding on a few right now. Sig150, Li, Snowwolf, or X Cube II.

I don't use temp control (ever) so the only mod I use now is my HexOhm 2.1, I am in love with mine, hits like a train..You can read more about it in the Uwell Crown thread..

I'm edging the Crown over the TFV4, its def picking up more flavor tones in my juice when vaped side by size, better build quality, lighter, looks so nice in black and just feels like a richer more satisfying vape.. it's early days but it just goes to show, these quad and sextuple coils aren't really any better than the dual ones, it's just my opinion of course but anyone that hasn't tried the Crown yet, I fully recommend one.
