well the last couple days I have had a weird slightly burning rubbery taste from my Quad coil... Pulled the coil out and looked inside it. Freaking NASTY!! Black and gunky as hell. got bored and pulled the coil apart. all four wires were coated with gunk and char. The wicking didnt look to bad, but the gunk build up was actually bridging the wires. I have never let my coils go that bad. Normally I just rebuild after about a week with my RDAs. I was trying to push this thing to see how long it lasted and I got about 3 weeks.

So far I've gotten about a week on my tricoil and the flavor is definitely lacking. this is of course after vaping about 20ml+ a day through it at 80-90w for this whole week. I was hoping that i would get a lot more time out of it like some have stated. Has anyone rebuilt the tricoil yet? Might have to try it sometime if i get bored.

How's the rba deck? It might've already been answered but I just ordered the tank and I'm already hearing that the holes are too small for any wire below 28g which would suck because I was mostly planning on rebuilding with the rba deck for the most part. I would stick with the stock coils but they seem crazy expensive to keep getting

I might try doing that then if the holes are too small for the 24g. It should still work the same too by wrapping the coils under the screws too right?

As long as the wire is well trapped under the screw, it will work well, I find it easier than tryin to bend the wire to get in them holes.

That's why I made the test coil as I wasn't sure how it was going to be. Wasn't that hard tbh, lot easier than I thought it would be.
