Do you guys use kanthal with this tank? Or would you suggest some wire like nickel, nichrome, or titanium?

That depends on your mod and your preference. Ni or Ti for temp control only, Kanthal or NiChrome otherwise.
Well Im fairly new to vaping and Ive only used kanthal. But I plan on using this tank along with the smok x cube 2. Just on the regular wattage mode though not on temp control yet.
I was able to force a twisted 24g coil into the single RBA. I had to use my pliers and push them in hard but they went in and worked great. I was surprised at how well it performed, as I mainly do dual coils.
depending on how much juice is in the tank you can flip it upside down and unscrew it. much more than 2/3rds a tank and your gonna have a mess though. Go ahead... Ask me how I know...

Is the single coil RBA suitable for making higher ohm like 1.0 builds? I only have a 30W device so I can't use the included 0.2 ohm coil.
Told myself I was going to wait for the mini, but that was just too cheap.

Yes, but you could be waiting 2-3 months for it, gearbest is a china vendor and one of the worst at that, very slow getting things out, and cancel on people when get to many orders, I wouldn't risk it myself.
You don't have to change coils often, but when you do it's a pain the rear. Glass never wants to come out, always expecting to crack/crush it or chip it. Surgery over, she survived.
A few more sites listed the mini for preorder but only in stainless steel. Hopefully the black version is released around the same time

Its not even mini, they just made it a 22mm tank but longer and holds less, what a waste of time.
Just to add on a more positive note, I bet the mini would be great if you like swapping out juice a lot throughout the day, great for testing juice too.
Also lets remember that if your using the tri or sextuple coils than your only getting 4ml of juice in the tank so the difference is only half a ml with the mini.
Still, I'd just buy a Crown lol
