For me, I feel I have to use twice as much power to get the flavor even close to the Starre.

I feel that is a pretty accurate statement on the triple and I am referring to original Starre as the Starre Pro did not change anything for me flavor wise over the Starre/Maganus (but it did increase my usage of Tylenol).

If I was a non dripping hard core flavor chaser I am not sure I would even be playing above 100 watts. No reason to, I would just puff my Crown (or it sounds like these Quads which I will have by Sat as I ordered a pack of each style) at 75 watts all day long. AND sometimes I like to do this.

However most of time, like He-Man I have the power, I like the power, I want to use the power and if I want temp control I vape in front of the freezer while its open. Hahahahaha.

@sd3614 lol, I used the two o rings from the subtank mini, one for the bottom and one for the side, it works, no leaks so far, vaping the quad again at 95w, it will do until I get the proper one tomorrow. :thumb:

Turn on ac, automatic temp control lol

Yeah I am looking forward to trying them out. For some dumb reason I thought they crammed 4 coils (i.e.) like the triple in the Quad, but seeing it is Parallel with an open middle I can see what it may be warmer, it is like one giant light bulb and 80 watts probably is about perfect.

I have way too much hardware right now adding the TFV.

I am trying to sell off some Subtank Plus's in the classies right now but no one is biting. I'm embarrassed to say I'm using a spread sheet to keep up with tanks/juices therein/last coil change and have tons of juices UN-opened. Space was already an issue and I got a bunch of DIY stuff that is now taking up even more room. @Rixsta I don't have kids (wife and I are trying) hence I have spoiled myself a little on this and my Xbox stuff. Heck I am not even gaming as much because I need a vaping headset for gaming. Someone needs to invent it! Like the dual beer can ball cap.

hahaha, I have 5 children, good luck to you and your wife, we don't even get chance to try any more, we're too tired lol

Just ordered some genuine vct5's for the quad coil, please, somebody tell me why I bought 4 efest batteries, they just don't cut it for this beast.

I just put my VTC5's into back up position. They are great batteries and true to their 2600mah rating, but turns out the LG HG2's are true to their 3000mah rating as well. A little more run time definitely comes in handy for me. Although, I may have to reconsider once I get the quad coils since the Sony's have a higher amp rating.

I ordered VTC4s based on Mooch's test results. I can see me needing at some point a battery that can handle >25A which both the VTC5 and HG2 don't dp so well. I'll sacrifice some capacity for higher drain capabilities.

Where did you find the 25Rs being cleared out.
The cheapest place I found was here. $5 a pop and free shipping on all orders over $10 till 08/09. Apparently they are clearing stock because there are newer green wrapped 25Rs now with a lower internal internal resistance. I went ahead and ordered 6 plus a little 4x18650 plastic case for funzies. ;)

Samsung 25r are good batteries but at higher wattage and low resistance coils they just don't cut it for me. Def need the higher amps..mAh doesn't bother me as I always but 4, 2 in the mod, 2 charged and I just cycle them so I'm never left with flat battery.

Not exactly sure what you mean by this, since the VTC5s (you mentioned above) and the 25Rs will function essentially the same in our mods (with the 25R showing better discharge curves from that charts I've looked at). The 30A rating on the VTC5s are a pulse amp rating, something a 25R would handle in the same way. Any recent, 20A rated high-discharge battery will be able to run any mod currently on the market.

I tried my friends Sony's on the SnowWolf and the 0.15ohm coil, there was a difference at this lower resistance compared to the Efest and Sammy ones. I'm no battery expert but they just seemed better. Lower resistance of 0.15 and lower (rebuildable) the Sony ones outperform the above two from my experience.

Both the Samsung and the Efest are 20A continuous, where as the VCT5 are 30A continuous discharge (Max 60A burst) ,I'd have to say the 25R and the Efest at super sub ohm would be MASSIVELY overstressing them.

Hey I could be wrong, either way, the VCT5 are great batteries.

"Seemed better" is pretty scientific.

Like I said, battery ratings from the manufacturers can vary....charts I've seen show both the VTC5s and 25Rs discharging similarly @ 35A. Either way no one is going to be running a continuous >40A pull from dual batteries since most high watt mods (including the Snow Wolf 200W) have an amp limit of 40A (on the board). The burst limits are obviously higher than their continuous ratings on either of these cells anyway...so there really wouldn't be a difference in stress.

By all means, use whichever batteries you feel the most comfortable with, I'm just saying it's hard to go wrong with the current name brand lineup of batteries...I just went with the cheapest option.
