How many second draw ? After 80 i can only take 0.5 second draws

I decided to time myself. I realized I hadn't done it in a long time, probably before I started vaping around 100 watts. I took at least 1 or 2 hits to warm up the coils then hit start right as I hit the vape. At 110 watts my average, enjoyable hits are 4 seconds long. At 130-150 watts it's 1 second long. If I go slower on my drag to take a longer hit, it starts feeling warm to the point it tastes a bit scorched. The 4 or 1 second drags are mildly warm for me and taste very good.

Well i tried three more builds. One on the single rta deck. Found that it wont leak if you build allowing the wick to go straight thru the channels on either side with a tad sticking out after the rta cap is on. I didnt prime the wick much. However after emptying and refilling without adjusting anything (just to test a simple refill for the same coil).... Leak city.

I tried the same build on the dual coil deck and it didnt leak but it also didnt wick well at all so it wasnt vapable, and no I didnt have too much cotton in the channels. I then tore it down and essentialy loosly packed the deck above the juice channels and it leaked immediately.

I did keep my finger over the air stem to the coil while filling too. It made no difference. Im stumped so far.

This is why I love my kraken and origin tanks with ceramic wicks... Lol. They never fail me build after build.

Actually no. Ive tried more and it chokes off the channels. Ive built it with more, less, and diff wicking materials as well. It still leaks badly. Both the decks.

I also expreienced leaking with the quad coil head. The tri coil didnt leak. However I bought the tank to use the rta decks. Not the prebuilt coils.

Never had a single leak out of this tank or flooding, using the single rba or the quad, tank gremlins as my Crown tank floods like mad and nobody else's does, its a strange one. As for wicking the cotton touches the bottom, flush with the juice holes..

Anyone worried about the leaking issue for when nickel or titanium coils come out for the TFV4? I've had a Freemax Starre Pro leak and the liquid reaching where the coil makes contact with the base of the tank affected the resistance reading on both my temp controlled mods resulting in coils being burned. Really anticipating those coils and considering buying a TFV4 to have for at home to back up my Crown but that is a definite concern.

Spoke with the vendor today and they are going to replace my tfv4. I asked him about the milling on the airflow and base - as in - not being able to close it off because the holes in the ring are larger than the base. He said "Ive sold a couple hundred of these already and you are the first Ive heard of it", and I must have got a bad unit. Says his employees are using them without issue and no one has noted the incorrect airflow sizing that I have.

I find it odd that he hasnt heard about it. A google search for tfv4 flooding turns up alot of people saying the same issue as I am suspecting.

Im going to write this off as bad QC by Smok and return it for a new one. Hopefully I wont recieve another with the same issues.
