$18..... that is cheap. Where can I sign up? :)

I agree @sd3614 that Uwell Crown is a quality tank all the way from the packaging to what's included in the package and of course the price, I got mine for $18 straight from Uwell! . I think many other companies should take note. Granted I have only had the TFV4 for 2.5 weeks my personal experience has been more consistent with this tank compared to the Crown. But you are right, they are both fantastic tanks and the best on the market at this point in my opinion

Wanted to pop back in and update. I got the replacement tfv4 from ecigavenue. Ive now used both the quad coil and the tricoil without any leaking issues thus far. The airflow ring on the new unit seals off enough (just barely btw) so that I can finally create some negative pressue when filling the unit. I believe I was 100% correct that the airflow not being able to close off was the issue, at least in my case.

I still havent tried the single and dual rbas yet but I will over the weekend. At least I know if it leaks again its build related ;)

I got better flavor from the tricoil tho at 80-90watts than I ever got with the quad at any level, so I guess that makes me odd. I do vape mostly tobaccos tho and the subtle notes I mix in are far more pronounced and satisfying with the tricoil. I need to find a way to use my readyxwick on those rbas tho cause I really dont like cotton.

Something of note that may interest folks talking about orings. Aside from the spare top seal, the extra glass, etc.... The kit I recieved came with two replacement seals for the bottom of the glass. The white oring others have said were melting. So I think smok is listening. Still not a full set of replacement orings but progress nonetheless.

When (yeah when, more delays) I get my black one, it will be interesting to see what O rings come with it, if any.

Im also expecting the bottom O Ring to be black, better quality maybe ????? ...we will see.

SMOK have also changed the drip tip, the inside is either glass or plastic now.

Just got my TFV4 from Breazy, this thing is a beast (I love it) keep seeing about these orings, I am guessing they didn't include extras to start with, but mine came with 2 extras includes, was only the orings on what the glass sits on, but at least got spares.

Just threw the RBA head in and used the coil that was installed in it already, comes out at a 0.70ohm coil, wicked it up, filled it up and leaked quite bad to start with, guess I need more practice with the wicking yet, but am planning to play around with it more tomorrow when got more time, it is vaping fine right now and no leaking at the moment, that will probably come when go to re-fill it.

anyone tried the ni200 and titanium coils?

Couple of pages back on Ti for me, they look just like the triple but have 2 heads. Flavor was similar to triple but maybe a tad better. Juice went down just as quickly as other coils and I ran 5 tank fulls through it at 100 Joules, 540 degrees. Many people would run lower temp than this and would get better juice consumption.

I found the metal taste at 1st noticeable but every so slight and it faded quickly. They performed just fine IMO. My only other experience to compare to was Ni on Arctic and I felt the experience was similar but with more billowing clouds of course.

Smok quality control seems to vary widely. Add to that the rush to get new products to market and we see problems like in this thread. So far thankfully the couple Smok products I have purchased have been trouble free.

It would be nice if Smok would offer current TFV4 owners that can show proof of purchase a free o-ring kit.

I guess I'm going to hold off on getting this tank then. It's a shame because it sounds like it's a decent design hampered by cheap soft parts. My first tank was a micro GDC and I still like it better than the Nautilus. My TCT is great, my favorite of all my atty's. It sounds like they need to throw better seals in it and ditch the top fill fad. I hate all the top fill tanks I've had in my hands, they all seem like a problem waiting to happen. It they used the same type of bottom fill set up that the Micro GDC has, that would be perfect.

 Easier to just shop for something that fits Your Needs.
Some prefer certain features and would like them to remain.

Ive been running the dual coil since last night. 2mm kanthal spaced coil, 5/6 wrap @ .35ohms between 35-50watts. Working just fine. Decent flavor around 40-45 watts and very good vapor production at any lvl above 35watts.

As for wick configuration Im running a horizontal with cotton snug, not crammed in. To cut the wicks I installed them a bit longer then put the top cap on and screwed it down a little. Then took it back off. The imprint of where the cap hit the wicks is where I trimmed it off. Primed it VERY lightly and then filled er up. Couple primer puffs and off to the races.

I finally got around to trying out the quad coil. Was leery of swapping coils without a new bottom seal but mine came apart with minimal problems. The seal did stick but didnt tear when I pulled the glass off it.

I was vaping the tri coil at 80 to 90 watts and it performed very well, good flavor and clouds. With the quad coil the first thing noticeable is the vape is warmer. Not a game changer but noticeably warmer than the tri coils. I wouldnt say the flavor is better but am on only the second tank so it might improve and eek past the tri coil but its definitely an enjoyable tasty vape. I am vaping it at 100 watts and tried it at 120 but its a warmer vape than I like there. 100 watts seems a good temp for it to me.

The flavor will come through more, say after four or five tanks, I'm still using the Sextuple coils for the same flavor (maybe slightly better) but a cooler vape at 80 watts.. Still going strong, no problems with these at all. I like the fact its a 0.4ohm coil too, more in my range, especially using the hex ohm.
I did go back to the quad and took it out straight away, it's just to warm for me now.
