Has anyone used the dual rba portion for it yet i have been looking into it and it looks very interesting. they willl have a new build deck coming out for claption coils that will fit on the mini. I am pretty sure that it will fit the the original. That really caught my attention to have a clapton coil in the rba portion!

Just got my dual RBA deck today actually... Wont get a chance to build it until tomorrow though. It came with two coils already installed but not wicked. Not sure of the wire gauge, but Im probably going to replace them with 28G Kanthal tomorrow when I build it. Also comes with a couple extra Orings for it. I have high hopes for it, but realistically Im hoping it lives up against the quads. Ill post a pic or 15 tomorrow when I build.

I really like the single rba with 0.8mm 316L 3mm 8 wraps and 5 wraps staple 5*0.1*0.5 with 32ga

You terminated your claptoning wrap without putting it under the screws... any reason why? I havent seen that before. wondering what it does?

Probably just easier to trap that way. The outer wire shouldn't have any electrons flowing through it anyway as it follows the path of least resistance, so you don't actually need to trap it down. I've done this (and many others) in the past on RDAs where I couldn't quite fit the leads in, or it was just easier to trap the inner core only.

Mine (TFV4 from ecig.com) should be here Saturday. Sounds like I'll need to stock up on some joose before then.
I'd seriously think about getting into DIY, it's way cheaper, easy to do, you control the nic levels, what flavors and percentages you want, the vg/pg ratio. I have 11 x 100ml of juice made up, all different flavors, love my Pina Colada, Black Cherry cake, Sugar cookie, Cinnamon Roll and double apple, Lovely Peaches and Ice Cream with a splash of koolada, Strawberry Custard Cream. Why anyone spends what they do on retail juice is beyond me. I can make 100ml for about 4 pound / 6 dollars.
If you do decide your getting sick of been ripped off,(which most are) I'm always here to help, with the right info and juice calculator, it really is easy peasy.

TFV4 = DIY :)
Hell, even the Crown = DIY

Oh yes...there will be juice. If I rock the tfv4 all day (seldom) I will easily blow through 15+ml of juice and about 5 ml in a 2 hour car ride. I usually toss my "B-list" juice in just to burn through it.

Ha yeah, it's easy done, I usually vape unflavored when I'm out..

huh, never thought about that. I can think of a few builds I had to ditch since the full clapton wouldnt fit in the post holes.

Preach brother! DIY saves me so much green. I cant believe the money I was dumping into juice before I started DIY. Granted there are still a couple of comercial juices that I havent been able to clone, but Im getting close. I like lightly flavored a lot better than a lot of the uber sweet full flavored that you buy in shops. and lot of time the juice was pretty good, but there was that one little flavor in it somewhere that I though the juice could do without. Now if I have that issue, the next batch, I just dont put that flavor in it and everything is good.

Yep, I easily empty my Crown or TFV4 during my ride to work. about 1.5 hours.... At least I dont have to worry about my juice in the tank going stale though!!

come one, there must be something bad with this tank.. happens rarely that there are near to no cons?

It needs lots of Watts... replacement coils are a bit pricey. Did I miss something else? Leaking? Come one!

Well with my new TFV4 I can not remove the glass. It is absolutely stuck at the bottom, and this is before I've even used it so it cant be a "melted/fused" o-ring issue. Not too happy as it seems unlikely that I'll be able to try any new coils one the installed triple is worn out.
I've twisted and pulled so hard I'm sure I'll break the glass if I try any harder.
Not a happy camper.

Has anyone gotten confirmation from Smok that the Clapton Coils and Clapton RBA will work in the original size? They continue to release their marketing information as though both are unique to the mini.
Considering the mini uses the normals coils and rbas I think it's pretty safe to say the Clapton's will work in the normal and not just the mini

It is a melted, stuck oring, they come like this from the factory, 100% sure it's the oring. When you get it off, the oring will tear, I bet ya.

anyone using the single rba? I'm trying to get 50-60 watts from it, don't think its going to happen without dry hits/ flooding.
Shouldnt be an issue. Ive run the RBA exclusively for the last month. Standard Kanthal Micro coil. Mine is 22g right at 0.35ohm. For me the sweet spot for this build is 80-90 watts, and if you wick it right, there is no leaking or dry hits.

I havent tried it, and to be honest, I dont think I will. Maybe Ill Slowtech it one day, but the single deck works amazingly well.
My main concers for the dual deck is that there is no way to increase airflow, and with 2 coils (and the wicking to go along with it)hogging up that air, Im skeptical that it will restrict airflow and if they are large at all (I prefer 2-3mm coils) the air wont be evenly distributed across the coils causing a drop in flavor and vapor production.

The single RBA chucks as much vapor as I was getting out of plume veils and mutation X that were my primary decks before the TFV.
Not to mention single coils almost always produce better flavor anyway.
