Im going to get the mini... Everything i have to change coils almost every time my glass tank gets stuck to the bottom... Chance to break is annoying

The mini's design seems alot better, reminds me of the atlantis/nautilus, definitely getting it

The mini would be OK if your using the Quad coil, at least then you get the full ml capacity. I will wait and see what everyone thinks first, a smaller tank would be nice though.

Just noticed that the AFC on two of my TFV4'S are not the same as each other . One was produced in June and the other one was produced in August. Anyone else notice this change?
I have 3 TFV4, on the first 2 i got the afk ring is the same, on the last one it closes off more(almost completely) and it's also not as easy to turn as the first ones

Since I travel for work, I can not often order online. I see the TFV4 at vape shops, but coil availability seems to be hit and miss. I dont want a situation like with the Atlantis V2 where you are always improvising. The Atlantis sits unused, as the Crown and Arctic are performing better with commonly available 0.5 ohm dual coils. Anyone have experience with local availability of TFV4 coils?

As a newbie, I find the 0.2 coils on any tank too harsh, and the nickel TC coils too weak. I vape the Crown in the 60s with the 0.5, and the Arctic 10 or 12 watts lower. This with 3 nic and 70 or 80 pct VG, mod is IPV Li 3.

Can the TFV4 perform with what I can find and without the lowest resistance coils?

Since I need to shop in BNMs, I guess I need to stick with the more common tanks. Herakles on list..... I have tried other peoples Herks twice, and some things I like, others not, based on very limited use with juice flavors I hated.

So, is the TFV4 realistic, or is my next addition the Herakles, or other? Thanks
Order from fasttech and wait it out, local b&m gets it as fast as u do from china as well lols

Anyone use Ti or SS in the RBA yet?
Id be curious what setup works well with this and what the performance is compared to Kanthal.
Im a noob to building TC.
I have exclusively built the single coil RBA with 28g SS430 I got from Unkamen Supplies. It works pretty nicely with temp limiting, I'm using a single contact coil IIRC 10 wraps on a 2.5mm mandrel, running at 450-480F depending on my juice on a DNA200 around 40-45W.

I would have liked to use that wire twisted, but I was unable to trap under the screws once the 28g SS430 was twisted. It would have fit through the post holes, but I refuse to use those. I think the single coil clapton RBA coming out with the TFV4 mini would work much better with twisted wire.

I fnally got around to building my dual coil RBA head... and found that one of the screws has a totally stripped head. I cant get it out at all... yay. that was 11 bucks wasted. I may go after it with my dremel adn try to cut a slot in it to get a flathead driver into it, but at this point Im happy with the quad coils.

I got to try the mini today, much better O rings and design, I had pretty much dismissed it due to the capacity but it's a trade off I'm willing to accept, it really isn't that bad with the quad coil in. Def lighter too and looks nice on mods. I wouldn't however use any coil but the quad or your going to loose another 1 ml....lucky the quad for me is my favourite for flavor. The vape is slightly different too, the afc holes are smaller so that's probably why. I'd recommend one anyway, I really must learn to try these tanks before passing judgement

the new o-ring design is definitely good, if they do that for the big brother... i would get the big tfv4 instead, more capacity is always good, less refilling

also the complaint about the fuzz size tfv4 is exaggerated. its 2mm wider. if you have any other 22mm tank 2 feet from the tfv4 you would be hard pressed to notice the size difference. i think what people dislike the most is the overhang on mods which are only 22mm wide. so far im happy. i have an order for the mini in black as well. overall im really happy with mine. i just cant stand the drip tip. its far too wide IMO.

What is the difference in the o-rings? I just got a fullsized TFV4 yesterday and I don't see the bottom o-ring people had problems with. Both top and bottom are recessed in grooves in the steel. It doesn't look like they would come out if they stuck to the glass.

sometimes they get stuck to the bottom to a point where you have to break it for it to come off, some users have tried soaking it in water or vodka and it comes off easy, for some reason the bottom o-ring "sucked" on the glass

the newer one is reminiscent of the atlantis v1/v2 bottom orings from pictures/videos, i likey
