Bought one from my coworker today because he wanted to get the black one and the price was right. Already wanting to sell it. So overrated. Chucks clouds, mediocre flavor, poor design, bad QC(I mean...it's smok...).

Herakles > all
I couldn't agree more.

So here we go! Just came in a few minutes ago! I was taken back a bit by the weight of this beast. I love heavy gadgets, and tanks though. I also got a pack of the Clapton coils that I'm gonna try after the quad coil is done. I chose the Claptons because they are more in my preferred vaping range (rated at .35 Ohms)

I primed the coil and took a couple small, VERY under powered pulls to help the coil wick, and even with those small pulls, it performs better than my Atlantis V.2 the way I vape.

I still have to use this a bit before I give a real opinion, but there was no machine oil on my tank that I could sense, but I gave it a quick rinse anyways. It filled nicely, the odd shield over the juice holes don't seem to make a difference (using a MAX VG juice from Ohm's Vapes). I'm impressed so far though!

Thank you to all who posted here, you helped me reach a decision with this tank :) I posted a photo of it on my Sigeli 150w TC and there is no overhang which makes me REALLY happy.

I just got one of these yesterday. I just got the single, not the full kit and some regular nickel coils. Heard the air ones had muted flavor due to the increased airflow. I haven't used the tri-coil (T3?) it came with yet, but I'm actually digging the nickel coil. Running it on the Hcigar vt200 and the thing kills the battery! But I don't get enough flavor just giving it the 50 joules my ipv allows. Regarding the flavor, I think it's pretty good but not quite on the level of the crown or Smok TCT. So I do like the tank, I think it actually goes well with the Hcigar but I wouldn't use it all day everyday.

Depending on which ipv you have, you may be able to do an upgrade to increase the joules and wattage. I believe the ipv Li 3 can go from 165 and 50 to 200w and 70 joules. As for the tri coil, I saw one at a vape shop last night and it is massive. While tempting, I think the tfv4 is beyond my budget these days.

I have to agree with you, although I have only used the air nickel coil and the flavor was significantly muted compared to my Crown and slightly muted compared to my TCT. I was thinking about trying out either the titanium or nickel w/ out the extra air holes and see how it performs but it sounds like I'll have the same problem which is disappointing because I mainly use temperature control. I do have to say though that if I were to use a tank with kanthal coils it would be my choice, the quad is great (haven't tried the tri). Wish they would make a triple or quad nickel or titanium coil.

Got my TFV4 mini yesterday.

like the RBA, but despite rewickimg numerous times it still spits a lot. The base also gets flooded and eventually leaks.

Dual Clapton coil was great to start with, but by the second tank fill it started to give a burnt taste, maybe let the tank drain too low before refilling?

Haven't tried the sextuple coil yet.

Probably need to spend more time with this, but first impressions aren't great.

I received my Smok TFV4 yesterday. I did all the prepping to get it ready. I took it apart to make sure there was no machine odor, wetted the coil filled the tank with my DIY custard and waited etc. While I waited I un boxed my Sigelei 150W TC Temp Control Mod. Played with it while the coil soaked up the juice. After about a half a hour I primed it a couple times and off we went. Started at 30 watts for a few draws then kept bumping it up. My sweet spot is sitting at 85.7 watts with air flow half open. I enjoy my mini sub tank about 32 watts. The TFV4 kicked the flavor up a bit and as all you know the vapor :vapor:like no other tank I have owned. I looked long and hard at getting the crown. I tried it at my local B&M decided to go with the TFV4 because of the air flow on the tip and a tad better flavor I guess lol. With the triple and the quad even the Sextuple what is next? What will be the latest and greatest :thumb:

Still rocking my custard with the 3 coils. After a couple of tanks I kicked it up to about 95 watts and it hasn't missed a beat. Maybe a tad more flavor and vapor. No leaks ne issues. I am so glad I diy on juices cause you can almost watch the level go down lol. I plan on using it till it dies.

it's actually not so bad the top Phil if you get the full size I have the full sized and then you just squeeze it running to the whole the things
the mini holds like 3.5 or some .... like that and I guess it's appropriate for the signs at the smaller tank as well not just the diameter entire tank

but I absolutely love it and you know they have the triple coils the quadruple coils have dual coil anything that needs Clapton coiled I'm going to get some Clapton coils because they run out and .35 ohms I think and that's plenty that's point thats that but I absolutely love it and you know they have the triple coils the quadruple coils have dual coil anything that needs Clapton coiled I'm going to get some Clapton coils because they run out and .35 ohms I think and that's plenty that's point thats that slow enough of a resistance DD's .15

But absolutely get the mini tank and plot that bad boy on their get the coils if you have a strong enough box mod or get the clap and coils and J Vapor it up I know that the Vapor production and the flavor are both amazing on both tanks . Yeah absolutely get this tank this is the best tank that has ever come out I don't care people say it leaks out the side you need to use Macs VG liquid and sometimes it'll burn out the coil quicker but the quadruple coil can handle it it says specifically to use Macs VG and I've never had clouds like that before I thought the Atlantis was the greatest gift to vapor kind but this is unbelievable the top feel it's so simple and the minis identicals just smaller you see if it's over coils you just swivel over the top stick in the dropper and you can put it right into the hole drop it in squeeze it out and repeat. It is the greatest tank it tastes so good at the vapor I left the cloud behind me I was walking down the road and it just left the whole neighborhood in the fog it was amazing

If anybody complains about the tank it's probably because it eats a lot of juice and you know what you have to get yourself a good deal on juice online they have some really good juice and really good prices and huge bottles of it so it's the only way to play. Just because it uses a lot of liquid and not much more than the Arctic tank or some of the others there is no reason do not buy the best tank that has ever been made the very bold statement but I stand by it I'm spoiled and when you find the coils that are perfect for your taste you will say holy geez for me I like the class poorClapton coils the ones that are point 35ohm I think they're .35 ohm and they're fantastic my friend let me 1 I've been using the quadruple coils and they run way too hot and they burn through juice the clapping coils are great or the triple coils to
