@Tydaddy what you say about the sextuple coils is what I'd expect - better flavour @ a given lower wattage eg 60w. And for the vape at this wattage to be warmer. However this contradicts what others have said..

I can't comment practically yet - I've ordered a pack of sextuple coils from FT and await their arrival.

The power of the vape hype, a 3 parallel coil is not a sextuple coil it's just 3coils.

It looks exactly like the triple from the outside, I haven't taken one apart yet. 3 vertical coils, I'm assuming each coil has 2 wires which would make it six I guess.

Kind of, when building on a rda or tank and build a single parallel it's considered a single parallel coil not a dual coil. Yes you get more surface area and cut the resistance in half. But them calling a 3 parallel coil a 6 coil, coil head is a sham and really it's only 3coils.

I currently run the quad coils on the TFV4 but as soon as i heard about this tank I had to buy it and I am not disappointed at all! and hearing about these hex coils coming out makes my wicks wet lol!

I ordered the single kit & received it a few days ago, but I haven't opened it yet. I'm about to celebrate 6yrs vaping next month & despite the many, many mods I own I'm in the market for a new box mod in the 150-200 watt range, TC is a must, but I'm not trying to break the bank. I started vaping after surviving an Aortic Dis-sectional Aneurysm 7/4/2009. 30yrs of smoking a pack a day nearly killed me, but vaping helped me beat the odds. Now I have the IPV2 Mini, IPV4, iStick 50 & 100 watt, the Tesla Invader, the Tesla Two & the eVic VT, VW box mods but 120 watts is the highest any of them go. I was thinking about the Smok Cube II, but I have a Windows phone & I don't think I'd be able to use the Bluetooth function. Does any1 here have the Cube II ?? And if so, is it necessary to use the Bluetooth function for it to work well ?? I hear its the best match for the TFV4 Tank ???

Hey therem I signed up purely to reply to this. The x cube II is great, running a tfv4 with tris on it and I barely use the app. The only thing you need the app for really is buying tc upgrade to run titanium coils, if you keep it paired all the time it tracks your daily puff count and thats all ive found so I dont really use it, everything else can be done on the mod. I love it, battery life is good, and the menu is easy once you get use to it (short press scrolls menu, long press selects). The only issue I had was the firing button sricking when I got it outta the box, before batteries even went in I just loosened the four bolts on that side and hasnt stuck since. Hope that helps.

Whaaattt ? You have to pay more money, to run Titanium & SS ?? But I would need to run the app to make the purchase ?? I guess I won't be getting the Cube II. Everything I own is Windows... PC, tablet & phone. I can't believe you have to pay for upgrades. I'm sure its not that much, but still... I'm looking to find a TC mod that has at least 150 watts, temp control for Ni200, Titanium & SS and affordable... Perhaps I'm asking for too much or better yet, I should be patient & wait to see what new TC devices come out soon. Thank you for the info, none of the videos I watched said much about what phones it works with...

Yeah its only 2-3 bucks but its a pain in the .... Newer shipments might be different but I dunno. If I get into tc more I might do it but I've just started vaping (2 months off the ciggies and counting) so its not that big a deal for me just yet.

I reckon give it time, from what I've seen titanium and stainless coils are a pretty new thing so give it time amd manufacturers will catch up.

How is the leaking?

None on the triple or sextuple - not with 60/40 or anything with higher VG.

On the quad I've had to stay 30/70 and heavier VG to avoid leaking - even then I have to blow out the chamber every so often. At roughly 95 VG I still have no wicking issues or dry hits.

I will say though I'm getting much better flavor - with anything I try - out of the quad over the sextuple. Either of those, and the triple, are still better than the Ti coils though which have been a HUGE disappointment.

The sextuple has the clouds going for it, it's noticeably more than any other pre built coil in the TFV4 I've tried. However, with higher than 80 VG I had wicking problems and dry hits on the regular.

90W - 100W across the board except in Ti which (obviously) fluctuates based on temperature. -Mags

I just got the sextuples after a month, thanks slowtech! Great flavor at 60 watts but still reasonably warm not hot!
