I really need some help... tried a few methods to wick the tfv8 rba and i still get leaks...

tried to follow rips video and prime the cotton (slightly shorter cotton, not filling the bottom juice hole with cotton) before pushing it down.. leaks
tried to follow grimms video and push down cotton first with slightly longer cotton and filling the juice hole... leaks
tried to add more cotton to cover the space between the velocity deck , u know the inbetween where u push down the cotton... leaks

Hope someone can help me otherwise i'm gonna trash tat crap

Not really of any help, but using the rba on the tfv8 I have re-wicked it twice now. Both times it leaked something terrible on the first fill, draining all the juice out. I let it sit overnite and then added about half a tank of juice and did not have any leaks nor any with subsequent fillings. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, but figure I will add just a little juice on that first fill and see if the pattern continues.

Has anyone used this with the RX200? Does it have the same 510 connection issues as the tfv4? If so is there a fix around this?

Also, as far as batteries - would 3 LG HG2s be suitable and capable of safely firing the tfv8 up at 200w with the 0.15ohm coil? I'm struggling with the concept of using 3 batteries - does this mean everything is essentially divided by 3 when I'm trying to work things out?

How about the possibility of coil rebuilds as well? Not seeing anything in the way of tutorials yet but I know it hasn't been out for too long. On the other hand the coils do look extremely complex so maybe it's more hassle than it's worth. How long are people getting on these coils?
I am running mine on the 200S and works like a champ! Best setup I have had to date

I've never heard of someone that vapes over 140W. I vape between 50 and 110W depending on what tank and coil I'm using. I vape the TFV8 Quad coil at 100W.
I don't understand how people run such high wattage. Running my tfv4 mini on my rx200 right now with the .4 sextuple Clapton coil that's rated up to 140 watts and 80 is plenty. I've tried higher wattages and get burnt dry hits.

I found a fix screw the bottom of the coil on tight so its tight against the black ring after that screw the adapter to the coil and put the glass on and attach it to the top of the tank make sure each part is screwed on tight with the air hole closed. next to stop the leak after filling the tank attach a band around the top of the tank where you open it between the seal this will make sure you dont lose pressure , it should fix the issue as the top of the tank can make the bottom leak out the air hole and into your mouth with spluttering liquid.
Also note that if you vape at low levels it doesn't vaporize the liquid properly which can cause leaking issues read what is written on the side of the coil and vape at the higher end of it you will notice a big change :)
i will attach a picture of the band you need
