I noticed they came out with TFV8 V8-X4 Quad Coils , features double-barreled pistol design. Not sure how that differs from the TFV8 V8-Q4 Quad Coils A new TFV8 RBA 16. looks like it is getting s lot of new stuff.

I also noticed that smok now has the smok TFV8 BABY Beast tank - 3ml. That is about half the size. You have to fill it after every 3 pulls lol. Too bad it takes baby coils.
I like the CloudBeast so much I just ordered the BabyBeast after reading great reviews on another forum from folks who own one..Plan to run it on my 100w Presa..see how it goes... :)

I am still running and liking the TFV8, but did pick up the Alien full kit with the Baby Beast a couple weeks ago and that set-up is very hard to put down. It does require frequent fills, but is still much easier then dripping.

For those with the Baby Beast, we just discovered a bit of an issue with assembly you can read about here: smok tfv8 baby beast troubles!!! Not a big deal, but worth being aware of.

I had to change my first coil today. It was one of the T8 coils. I went through maybe 12 tank fulls so it lasted a good amount of time. Replaced it with a X4 coil. I was vaping the T8 at 100w but that's too hot for me with the X4 so I dialed it down to 80w. Flavor and performance seem very similar

The whole entire top piece(drip tip, white seal, and metal) has seperated from the chimney part that connects to the top of the coil heads. Is this supposed to happen? I'm worried this is causing my tankto leak.
Haven't had mine come loose yet but it looks to be threaded. Have you tried tightening it?

It is not threaded. Simply fitted on their with a little grease it looks like.. But it comes off way too easily and I've tried everything to get my tank to stop leaking it must be from this.
Yup this has to be a problem. Must've gotten a defect or something because I've tried over6 different could and that all leak.welp, time to pawn this off on someone else on eBay lol

The SMOK website only lists the coil material for the V8-T10 which is kanthal.

I make my own juice. I have dropped my nicotine level from 6mg down to 2 mg compared to my Kanger subtank. I have noticed that my flavor is a little too much and is a little muted. So I am thinking of dropping that down from 18% to about 15%. Has anyone else changed their flavor level when using the TFV8
Not flavour but nic for sure. When I vape at 1.8ohms I use 6mg juice and I use 2.5mg with my mechs at 0.2-0.6ohms. I might have to drop down to 1mg with the TFV8 @0.15ohms.

Crazy juice consumption but I don't notice the flavour being too much.

I should have stated that I was using the T10 Decuple Coil. I played with the temp and air flow also need to give it a little break in time. All is well now :thumb:

Just got a TFV8 today and tried it after letting the coil soak in for a couple of hours and surprisingly it produces less vapor than my Kanga Toptank Mini using the same 70/30 VG/PG juice. However it's a much warmer and tasteful vape at 150 watts than the Toptank at 40w.

I was expecting massive clouds and i'm both disappointed and pleased at the same time which is off :) Pleased that i'm not going to piss a lot of people off with it and i'm happy to take it out and about but at the same time i've never blown a huge cloud and want to at least once :)

I have a TFV8 but not vaping it anymore. Flavour is not satisfying, leaking problem is really annoying. It only leaks after filling it. Watched numerous videos to solve leaking problem and done almost everything to get decent flavour. My TFV8 experience is full of regret. I believe that most of the Smok products are overrated

I don't know that I would say overrated, they are good products (what I've used). The big issue is quality control, so too many get out to consumers that have problems, not sure how good customer service is when that does happen though.

With the stock coils they included, I got pretty good clouds...not comp level, but fairly impressive. Could be method, if you take a fast hard draw and fill your lungs, don't hold it, should get big vapor.

With RBA, I get about the same vapor production on regular clapton coils, .25 ohm@28W as I do with my Kanger Subtank mini (single coil) .85 ohms@ 22W. both direct lung, the Subtank has a much more restrictive airflow though.
