He he he... Back when I was in college I stopped smoking marijuana because it was making me paranoid. I would ask my friends what to do, and they said, well, you have to "smoke through" it. I was reminded of that when I decided to write this. I have a new tip I just learned. My Ecig was vaping like a mouse, and spitting out only the smallest amount of vapor. I changed everything but the atomizor. So I know the problem was somewhere in that part of the device. But since it was my last working atomizor for this particular device I decided I had no choice, and I would just keep smoking the tiny amount of vapor this ecig would allow. Well lo and behold after about an hour of this it went back to normal! And started letting out big clouds again! So what I want to say is, sometimes you gotta "smoke through" it. My college friends were right.

I had the same thing happen!! My first 901 atomizer did that to me and it was driving me crazy! I "smoked through" the problem and it became my favorite atomizer to this day.. I have never had such great vapor as I did from that atomizer..

It met an unexpected death about 2 weeks ago.. R.I.P. good buddy. :(

haha.

Noob smoker here....i just got my ecig today and i am playing around with it. Question when you smoke are you supose to cover the hole on the atomiser and then release....how does it work to yeild a proper amount of smoke???

the hole is necessary to allow air to pass "thru" the atomizer where it is heated VERY rapidly and as the really hot air passes by the steel wool looking stuff that has pg-juice in it - the "vapor" is created. Vapor can be created by direct contact to the coil also but it will increase the current flow and with small batteries will produce low vapor. Plugging the hole will cause the atomizer to get hotter and cause the vapor to be produce by just being in close proximity to the coil but your draw wont be that good. You can start to draw an just tap the hole real quick and that will heat the chamber up quicker. The best way is to just take a Slow easy draw - You just want to suck hard enough to turn the LED ( Yeah - It's OK to go stand in front of the mirror - I catch myself doing it in the rear-view. I think a poll is necessary - Where's Kate) on then continue to inhale at that level of suction an you will get a good hit. A lot of people (including myself) make the assumption that suction equals "HIT" (Like an analog more suction more o2 more fire more hit) - That is wrong a smooth "consistent" draw = "MORE HIT"

Thank you for the explaination....its just something to get use to. After i read what you wrote i got a solid "hit", one that hurt the throat LOL.

Cant wait to continue working this thing out!!:thumb:

Want something REAL serious check this out

Yeah i was reading through that....but i think i need to get use to this ecig first.

I mean i still have a few questions like:

1) how do you know a cart is finished?

2) if you carry it around is it better to disconnect the battery and the atomizer?

3) Dripping while sounds intersting....is that something you use in addition to the pre-cart or do you use an empty cart if you drip?

4) How many times can you top off a cart before its no good?

Lots of little questions i gotta read or figure out....ya know

But the mag thing looks pretty cool and i assume you get some serious vapor from that thing!

1-when the vapours really weak, even with a fresh battery, and the cart fillings dry...

2-it doesnt matter...

3-empty cart...just the mouthpiece actually...but be careful not to let the atomiser get too dry...or too wet for that matter...when vapour dips,re-drip with a few drops...

4-i top mine off dozens of times...when performance degrades, put in a new cart,or wash the filling of the old one under the tap,let it dry,and reuse it...eventually it gos downhill tho...

Trying it now on my spare 901. Thought I would try my new juice arrival. Dripped 3 or 4 drops in then not much was happening. Add a couple more drops, small amounts of vapor but nothing major. Att warming up but not sure to add more juice or take a few more puffs.

The att doesn't appear to be flooded now after about 15 mins I have some vapor coming through. Will be glad to get through the primer though, it don't half make banana taste like yuk!

Lets hope this spare runs as good as my main att.
