Smoker or Non-Smoker?

definitely a non smoker.
if anyone asks me what im smoking i tell them it is my APV advanced personal vaporizer
and that i am vaping. It always warrants explaining thus giving me a reason to talk about
e cigs and being a vaper

I find the whole "vape" lexicon a little confusing.
You smoke a hookah, which, if done anywhere near correctly, will produce exactly ZERO smoke and zero combustion: while extremely hot, the purpose is very specifically to vaporize tobacco, molasses and flavorings, usually fruit: any burning, and it's gonna hurt.

I don't vape a hookah, nor would I tell someone I did. I understand that "vaping" points towards "quitting smoking" but when it boils right down to it, we simply stopped using one nicotine supplement for a much safer, modern method that's delicious to boot. I honestly think if I was asked I switched to a personal vaporizer. But that's me simply not liking the word "vape" and vaping. it sounds like rape, and raping.

but that's just me. For all intents and purposes, I haven't smoked my pipe in a couple days

i consider myself a non smoker and have been for quite some time. the last couple of days have been tough., can't taste my juice and feel like lighting a cigarette . i am not going to though just gonna sit it out until things get better. have a nice day.

I do not smoke. I quit a while back.

According to my insurance agent, I'm a non-smoker. At present, insurance providers do not classify vapers as smokers. Here's the caveat...I was required to give a urine sample to prove there's no tobacco in my system. Interesting, huh?

I almost threw up the last time I lit a cigarette, and that was 20 months ago. So yes, I'm a non-smoker whose body now rejects smoking cigarettes.

Funny thing... I recently had cataract surgery and they told me that they have to ask these questions every time a patient comes to their office, not just the first time, but every time they come in:

Q: Do you smoke?
A: I guit 20 months ago.
Comment: Congratulations
Q: Do you drink?
A: A glass or two of wine during the holiday dinners once a year.
Comment: Denies drinking.

When I read the comment for the drinking it made me feel like they didn't believe me when I gave my answer. What's up with that?

Vaper when I'm vaping.
As one who chooses to do both, it is easy to tell the difference between the two, and vaping is not smoking.

If question is left in short form "are you a smoker" then answer ought to be okay with short form, "no I don't smoke."
I think the person asking the question is actually seeking full disclosure, but given the war against smoking, I see little reason to provide full disclosure, to soundbite question. To be clear though, I currently do consider myself a smoker, and would probably respond as such. As today is a day where I've had zero smokes, and thus have greatly reduced my intake ever since vaping, I am what you might call a proud smoker.

I agree that smoke requires fire. I have not set anything on fire so I am not smoking--non smoker.

I will take a drug test for illegal substances but not legal ones unless they start testing for soda, cupcakes, and snickers!
