See title. =( So-- I'm attaching one of my eGo batteries to the charger, and it suddenly starts smoking. Yipe. I emailed the ladies over at Cignot (They're great, as always), and Vicki has a new battery on its way to me as we speak.

Here's the real kicker-- the charger indicator light got dim, and went out completely while I was removing the dead battery, but it came on fine when I tried my second battery. Only problem now, is that the charge time has increased dramatically. I hooked up my second battery today when it finally ran out of juice, and it's been charging for 7-ish hours now. You guys have any suggestions as to which course of action to take? I'm almost thinking I should count this as a loss and try another model, b/c I hate nagging at Vicki. On the other hand, I was really liking my eGo. =/ Maybe I should try a chuck or one of those pro-vapes, they look bulletproof.

Sounds like your charger....
First thing I'd do is order a new one along with a spare battery just in case.. they are cheap enough...

Assuming you're using the eGo rapid charger....
Are you charging using the wall transformer/power supply? or are you plugging into a USB port?

It could be either the power supply or the charger- I'd suggest trying a different source for your USB power.... If you're charging off the computer, use the wall charger and visce versa....

If an alternate power supply doesn't solve your problem, your charger is faulty.

If you're really liking your eGo, get some backup gear because all of this stuff has limited life span built in....

I've bought from Cignot and Vicky is indeed helpful; their support is fantastic, but I don't see why you should feel bad about recieving great support on a great product from a great vendor.

If the product is faulty and is covered under warranty then they should send you as many as it takes till it works for you- that's part of doing business and is typically reflected in your cost ...
