They can't ban the hardware (vaporizers), only the liquid being sold/pre filled carts.
Vaporizers are legal (for sale) in the following states which I can 100% confirm: WA, OR, CA, CO, TX, FL, MO, NH, MA, RI, CT NJ, DE MD, VA, NC, and many more states which I can't confirm 100%
The majority of vaporizor parts, which are atomizers, come from china. Very few are made in the USA.
There will only be a black market for the liquid, your correct.
Smoke 0-nic, I plan on reducing to that point.
Hardware, I'm always going to be getting from China.
Now I live in the USA, I can walk 1/2 mile to 1 mile and hit 2 headshops and buy vaporizer hardware legally. If you live in a country where this stuff is banned already, then yeah....all e-cigs are already banned for you.
The FDA has classified both the device & the liquid as a "Drug/device Combination". Unless manufacturers & suppliers all change the name of the devices and all separate the liquid from the devices, then the devices will be banned too. I felt the way you did, once (There's no way they will ban the devices), but Tropical Bob set me straight on that. The devices have been sold with the liquid for too long, and they have had the name "Electronic Cigarette/Cigar" too long for the FDA to be fooled by any marketing changes now. Our only hope now is to delay the inevitable as much as possible, and find a way (legal or not) to get around the inevitable once the ban kicks in. It sucks, but it is true.
