Yesterday my lovely wife and I were out and about and I wanted to stop in the mall to see if I can find any tapers to guage my ears a little bit. As soon as we entered my eyes lit up with what I saw. A mall ecig vendor. I had been looking to buy more cartomizers but I dont have a bank account to order more with right now. We started conversing a bit about the ecigs he was selling.

I then asked him if the ecigs used cartomizers or attys. He said he isnt sure but he thinks they are cartos. I took the one that he had and inspected it. I confirmed for him that it was a carto and I politely explained the difference and asked him if he has any empty cartomizers. He stated that all the cartos he has are prefilled.

At this point the wheels start turning in our heads how to mess with him. He pulls out the boneyard box of ecigs people ditched and hands it to my wife. Before I even recognized anything in the box she pulls out a eGo-C 650mAh battery from the box and tells him what it is.

We both questioned why someone in their right mind would ditch an eGo for a mall vendor ecig and at closer inspection of the battery we noticed how mangled it was. The previous owner was probably desperate for some vape and didnt want to resort to cigs. He went to the quickest rout he could think of.

The vendor then pulls out a 4 pack of cartos and hands it to my wife. She hands them to me while she looks at the gem tipped batteries he was selling. I look at the cartos close and this revelation was something to remember and tell. The cartos I tell the vendor are 510 thread which he didnt know. All he knew is they fit a lot of batteries.

I look closer at these cartos. They were Blu. The same exact style as the blue cartos but the cylinder is a standard 510 size. The symbol indicating "M" medium nic and the pipe symbol to indicate that its tobacco flavor were the exact same as the Blu.

He gave these cartos to us in a feeble attempt to get rid of us. So we took our spoils home and tried them out. Once again... Blu. Its the same juice as a Blu ecig. This dude could not believe who he encountered and we scared him into revealing the ugly truth about smoking vapor.

Yes...it seems that some of these vendors would have a better grasp/understanding of the products they sell! I think a standard size e-cig with pre filled cartos has it's place for many, as it most closely duplicates an analog experience! I started with a v2 kit and loved it, but have graduated to a Provari, Vector Variable Volt, Bolt and other fun stuff!

The good news is you got some free cartos!

Sadly many "vendors" hire people for part time work, summer work, etc. They don't know much about the products they are selling. This isn't just e-cigs, it's many. I'll be stopped more often than not in a mall from a kiosk vendor who tries to sell something only to find out surprisingly how little knowledge they have in the product.

Some kiosk vendors are the actual owners and are very knowledgeable in their product. Many are not.
