Smoking Vrs Vaping.

When I was a smoker, I would light a cigarette during specific times of the day. As soon as I wake up, before I role out of the bed, I would light up. While I took that morning dump, I would smoke. While I had my first cup of coffee, After breakfast, on the drive to work, once I parked at work, after lunch, when I was board, after dinner, while watching TV, before bed. Smoking for me was a religion and it was like clock work to light after every trigger. Vapin on the other hand is totally different. I don't need it after those triggers. I might not touch my vapor for a few hours after I wake up in the morning. When I was smoking, I couldn't stand up from the bed without lighting up. Once I finally decide to pick up my vapor, most of the morning has passed me by. With a cigarette, you light up and 5 to 7 minutes later, you are finished until the next craving happens an hour or two down the road. With vaping, I can take a coupe of drags and stop, then take a few more a little while later, and so on. I can vape all day long once I start. It gets so good to me that I have to make myself put it down sometimes. vaping is GREAT, I am loving it!!

I agree. Vaping is very enjoyable, and to me doesn't have the urgency associated with it that smoking cigarettes did. Sometimes I was almost frantic, fumbling in my purse for my cigarettes and couldn't find them fast enough. Then smoked it and that was that...until the next one.

Vaping is a more leisurely process and I think it is a much more enjoyable way to get the nicotine into my system.

Glad you are enjoying the experience, and keep it up.:)

Glad things are working out for you! It took a long time (like six months or more) to not turn to my vape at the same triggers (meals, driving, waking up, getting ready for bed, whatever) that I used for smoking. Now, I find that I hardly ever get a compelling urge to hit the vape up after those normal triggers - though I still chain-vape just like I used to chain-smoke working the night shift at my second job (writer for an alt-newsweekly/dickerer-around on the interweb). At least I can turn the nic down now using a lighter juice...
