Well, my lunch time is over. I hope everyone has a great afternoon. My boss is giving me the eye so I better get back to work.
Yeah I saw that one, I was going page by page from the time he announced the bot was booting up... and you all have my empathies for that long delay! He must be running that thing on a TRS-80 and 14.4 dialup!

It depends on the phone model really. For more popular models, there are even fully automated software suites, which do most of the work for you.
Getting a Custom ROM involves unlocking the bootloader of the phone, flashing a custom recovery software and then downoalding/installing the actual ROM.
Depending on the phone in question, for a first time user it could take in the region of hour, perhaps a bit more. For me it's more like 15 to 30 minutes.
Just have to remember that all the information you need is available. If unsure, read until you're sure. Chances to brick your device are slim to none (IF you do it correctly).
If I win one....stay tuned....I will report back....But the USB port on the device is so you can program the device via a phone/pc, save the settings and have settings for different set ups. iirc
Actually it originally had gpc2012 listed at #44 as well as earlier in the list...after it was pointed out Smokey Joe edited the original post.
I understand bluetooth, I just dont see much benefit.

Chances are, it's taking the Google account that is tied to your phone (which isn't the same in my case).
The points will NOT show on the total, but will be added in "house"...If you have the app, they will know and award the points.
