Be nice everyone ;)
Thanks Ms. Robin.

I was getting a little concerned for her welfare.

New i5 3570K in that picture (November 2013), upgraded it to a very inexpensive used i7 3770K a few months ago (and of course, I can't tell the difference, other than benchmark results)

As for Malta, I very much enjoyed my two years there, and really got on well with the Maltese, but the place has its share of problems.

Aye, I hear ya... for everyday computing, a K series i5 is more than enough, even non-K series is. Unless you plan to overclock, I see no reason to go for K.
Malta looks attractive since I already work in gambling industry, the security/quality assurance part of it, so I could quite easily, imho, find a place to work there... I do have 10yo which lives with his mother though. Those weekends we spend together with him are quite important for me and even more - for him. So I'm on the fence, sort of...

Well, definitely feeling a bit better today, bruises are starting to show now. Still can't take a big lung hit though :S

Hows everyone else today? :)
Good that you are on the mend! Boo for the bruises, though. Lung hits will still be there when you are all healed up. Slow and steady wins the race! :)

That's funny, so was mine except it was 1982.....lol
Yeah, I started my freshman year in September 1982, but took the class in the spring semester in 1983. It was nice being in the computer lab towards the end of April and May when it was in the 80's outside and the computer lab had the a/c cranked to keep the mainframe cool.
