It's not the apps. They run fine on my phone and my desktop. The laptop had issues long before I started running them.

Umm... check the temperatures then? Like CPUID, or HWMonitor... see what temps the CPU is running at. It could be problems with cooling, which lead to CPU Thermal Throttling, which in turn means (much) lower CPU performance.
You could always get a tech to look at it. Shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg...

Good for you! And congrats on the twins! Boys or girls? I have twin boys...they'll be 21 this weekend! It's hard going to school with little ones around, but I did it when mine were little and worked 2 jobs at the time too...talk about being tired all the time!!!!

Sweetz... My boy will be 25 on the 4th... Course his mom convinced him at 14 I was not his father so since then he won't talk to me... Wish I would have had a DNA test when we got divorced (he was2) thought I had gotten over it but I'm feeling more and more depressed as it approaches the 4th... Just don't matter I raised him for 14 years he is my son regardless of what dna says... Hope some day he will come around

My very first computer class ever (computer science) was in 1993. We used those Apple McIntosh computers, so that was my first introduction to computers. I was more than a little overwhelmed, lol.

My first computer class was in 1983. A programming class in Fortran using punch cards and the programs were run on a Univac mainframe.
