Indeed, I hear it's quite thirsty.

To be clear - I'm resolutely not just "taking a hit" on this. It is my fault, and not that of Smok.
I thank those of you who are backing me up, but there's no need - Smok did the best they could, I did the best I could. There's no malfeasance whatsoever, just learnings. I'll get better, I'm sure Smok will, ECFers will be happier.
Onwards and upwards!

Today I've got my prize too

Oliver, please stop making those "apology" kind of posts, this is nobody's fault, this is how things turned out and we can't change them, this was one of the biggest giveaways on this forum and we should be happy about this and take it positively instead of being ungrateful and querulous. To be clear - I'm resolutely not just "taking a hit" on this. Bringing this forward, just because it is an awesome post:
Please note the bolded part. We do not know if they were asked ahead of time or if it was thrown at them last minute. We do know that communication from Smok has been very limited. Could it possibly be that communication between smok with MV was in the same limited fashion?
If so, how does one prepare for something that one didn't know was coming down the line??
Just got vape mail from Fasttech. A package of Ni coils for the TFV4, a package of Ti coils for the TFV4 and the dual coil RBA. The Ni coils are two coils side by side. The other pic shows the coil compared to the Freemax Starre Pro coil.

Just to offer into the thread my personal apologies.
This problems we've had in this contest are, frankly, my fault - yes, Smok have had trouble sorting out the prizes, but I should have anticipated this and put in place a system for pre-empting this: it's not as if delays in the manufacturing supply chain are unknown.
ECF is going to be running a LOT more competitions going forward, and it's a learning experience for us. I'm putting in place methods for ensuring that prizes are delivered promptly and communications are improved. I also want to go a step further and ensure that any prizes we offer are guaranteed to be high quality and are checked for defects etc before sending out, but this might take a little longer.
In the meantime, please continue to support our competitions - I really want to reward our members with fun and engaging contests, and we've got some awesome plans I can't yet tell you about. Stay tuned
Also, if you're reading: many thanks to Madvapes for helping out the fulfilment here. I'm really grateful.
Thanks,
Oliver
From my initial impressions, I don't see how it can be taken apart. I suppose once I use up one of these coils I can try taking one apart.Hey jseah, does it look like the coils for the Smok can be rebuilt? (like the old Subtank OCC's)
onwards and upwards is the most important part of this post contest portion of the adventure At least in my oh so humble opinion it is. Whatever, whoever, wherever the problems were as long as there was learning its still a winning situation. Again, just my opinion. and thank you for the communications and clarifications as we go!To be clear - I'm resolutely not just "taking a hit" on this. It is my fault, and not that of Smok.

Congrats, Brother!!! Looks LOVELY!! Somebody can go ahead and kick me, but I think it's kinda nice that the REST of the world isn't watching US get the gold first for a change. Just sayin...
Oh, and YOUR flag sure looks a lot like OUR flag!

Lol - you would not believe how many times I've gone after an intriguing piece only to find it was not available anywhere in the U.S.A. and almost impossible to scrape from the Euro market
Such is live![]()
Hmm... Maybe it has something to do with the fact that much of THE most desirable equipment is coming out of places like Romania, Portugal, Ukraine, Poland, Greece, Russia and Germany? I don't know, just a thought.
Not as far as I'm concerned. Almost EVERYTHING on my vaping wishlist (outside of wick, wire, and juice) is from China and the US (or a combination of both).
Euro tanks? Painfully MTL-centric and/or status pieces, and not the least bit desirable to me.
Euro mods? Tube mods and/or stabilized wood mods, status pieces, and not the the least bit desirable to me.

Thank you for all your efforts, @SmokeyJoe, and many thanks to Smok and MadVapes for their work, as well. I figure things will eventually work themselves out... and when it comes, it comes. ECF is fantastic!Just to offer into the thread my personal apologies.
