So the winners in the US, did you receive anything saying your item has shipped? I haven't received anything, except the initial email where I had to provide my address. Since then, I haven't heard anything. Sorry if it's already been mentioned, I haven't logged in for a few days.
I never received any notices, one day it simply showed up

Jesus, what do all you people do with your spare time? poke things with sticks?

There are 6 screens in front of me, sometimes more. And 4 local machines, over 90 servers in the datacenter, 3 in another, and a plethora of remote repairs all day every day. For starters ;)

I never received a notice either.. but I did get mine! WOOHOO! So so so very happy with that.. I will come on in a day or so to ask questions and such..But I will start with these:

That little o-ring they gave us.. are we supposed to put it somewhere prior to use?

Also: Why did we get another tank thingy I guess it is? Are we supposed to put that somewhere prior to use?

Also: Do we have to prime this prior to use, ie: put e-liquid all around the area with the cotton before using? Or does it do that naturally without us doing it purposefully?

If someone could answer these questions that would be great!

I am sorry I am so short on time.. I have to create the graphics for a website; (ie: whole bunch of awards and signatures, site banners and everything else from scratch on a new site) so I am very very very short on time.. but I want to use my new vaping gear while doing so and will be trying to check in as often as possible!

vaping technical assistance at this time would be wonderful! :D

According to SMOK you do not need to "prime" the coils. Simply fill the tank and wait 15-20 minutes for the coil to "prime" itself.

I do however add a couple drops on the inside of the coil it seems to cut down on the wicking time with ejuice coming from both sides. I do also wait the standard 15 minutes or so. Most of the time I try to change coils before heading to bed so it soaks over night.

Also, I am getting about 3 weeks out of coils. They seem to last incredibly long for some people and incredibly short for others. My local B&M says he is only getting about 4 days out of a coil - but he sells them so obviously wants you to change more often. Most reviewers I've seen say they are getting a couple weeks out of a coil. Probably depends on how gunky your juice is.

You can clean the coils too. I've soaked them in vodka a day, then rinse with clean warm water and blow dry - as good as new.

No idea if the coil can be rebuilt. Seems as if someone a couple hundred pages back said they were going to take one a part and see if they were rebuildable or not.

Sign up for FedEx delivery manager.

Then you'll get an update through them.

Madvapes won't email you notification but they are sending them all fedex (so far) so if you're signed up with fedex, you'll get a notification once someone uses them to ship anything to your house.

As soon as I signed up I saw that Madvapes had sent me something.

Madvapes told me they would also be sending some out via usps, but no idea how many are going by which method

The rubber o-ring in the box is a spare for the chimney, the glass tube is a spare in case you break the one already on the tank.

You should put juice inside the coil on the cotton, slowly, until the cotton on the outside of the coil looks wet/slightly changes colour.

If it's wet you only need to give it 5mins or so to wick properly.

It would have helped a lot of people if they put some sort of instructions in the box, like ALL the other manufacturers do...

Right behind you...
$60 device for a $200 device, very nice trade.

Actually, a $99 retail device, for a $299 retail device, but depreciation, you know. :)

Frankly, if I just had the one X Cube, no way I'd consider a "downgrade" to a DNA40. I can run anything I want on the Cube, but I'm a lot more limited with the DNA40. But like I said, I'm a sucker for flasks.

I would have still traded and simply bought a new x cube.

Thank you for that information! Very much appreciated!

PS> I got an RBA for it... and will have to learn how to rebuild now.. lol
