The rubber o-ring in the box is a spare for the chimney, the glass tube is a spare in case you break the one already on the tank.

You should put juice inside the coil on the cotton, slowly, until the cotton on the outside of the coil looks wet/slightly changes colour.

If it's wet you only need to give it 5mins or so to wick properly.

It would have helped a lot of people if they put some sort of instructions in the box, like ALL the other manufacturers do...

Instructions would save a lot of time! And there would be less headaches for those who haven't used a tank in a loooooong time, like me.

Definitely, but it is what it is...

No instructions and an Xcube is better than no instructions and no Xcube! [emoji6]

I got my tank workin now. The oring was wonky. How long do the coils last that come with it?
The triple is still going strong on mine, since the day I got it, not sure when that was, but I was one of the first few to receive one.

So according to Madvapes Facebook page, they have shipped 100 units, and have 38 left to send out....
I dont see why they just wouldnt send the extra 38 out with that 100. If they really have all units. Like smok said they did then it shouldn't be no problem

Thank you for that information! Very much appreciated!

PS> I got an RBA for it... and will have to learn how to rebuild now.. lol
I just bought a single rba for the tank. I'm wondering what type of single builds would work. It does come with 3 0.85 coils with the unit. I am lazy and would rather buy prebuilt coils. However, I'm looking >0.85 coils such as 1.0 an 1.2 so I don't suck the liquid. I did rehome the smok x-cube 2 to another vapor-er. It was too much for me.

The stainless steel temperature control on the Xcube 2 is absolute crap, I've been trying for 2 days to get it working.
It's as useless as the TC on the M80, it just doesn't work.
I'm seriously disappointed, yet somehow not surprised.

You can use Ti mode for stainless steel, you just have to turn down the temperature coefficient to 0.00200.

That's miles off the coefficient of stainless steel, it won't work right, surely?

I'll give it a try, but I don't have much faith in it working.

Does yours keep jumping out of temp mode and back into watt mode?

No device can do proper TC with 317L, the TCR value is too low.

430 or 410 will work a treat, 304 will work but not as well.
That's news to me, I bought it as temp control wire, so I didn't even look into it.

Thanks

317L will never work correctly, no update can fix this. Anything that far below 0.001 is just too low.

TCR Values of SS:
317: 0.000875
316: 0.000915
304: 0.00105
430: 0.00138
410: 0.00155 (this value hasn't been verified yet)

You need 0.001 or above to properly regulate temperature, the higher TCR equates to more accuracy.
