Also, pro tip, no matter what you think might happen, no matter how tempting it may be, do NOT drop the X Cube on your toes.

I know, I know, it sounds tempting, but seriously, do. Not. Do it.

I just experienced something worse than toe stubbing... I went to grab it, it slipped out of my hand and boom, corner straight to the big toe....

OUCH!!!!

here is the skin. i bought it as the paint i used turned out to be .... and started chipping off. i will prob sand it down and paint it something different at some point.

the skin is a bit loose but feels nice in the hand.

bought it from here http://sweet-vapes.com/xcube-ii-160w-tc-silicone-case.html
there was a seller on ebay with more choices but that seems to have been pulled.

Did you prep the X Cube surface by sanding it? I think there is a coating on the SS which would make painting it (and making it stick) be a PITA.

I was going to paint mine as well but I was a little leery about it once I started inspecting the finish.

I figured my options would be

1. Powder coat it (which means sending it to a specialist)

2. Hydrocoat it. (Can be done in house but again, a specialist is best)

C. Jwrap it. Seems like the easiest and quickest.

All in all, I will probably get a jwrap for it at some point. Seems like the best option right now.

On another note, although I am liking the dual RBA, I have to say that it definitely needs perfecting. I already had a screw strip on me for no reason, and it really is finicky about putting coils on it. I hope they start using bigger screws.

I'm also a little upset on how the TFV4 tank is put together. Each time I have taken it apart to access the coil, I'm super scared that my globe will crack since it's a metal to glass connection. I've already lost one globe, I'd hate to have my spare break on me.

I do hope they redesign it to the more commonly found gasket style.

I emailed SMOK to tell them about my TFV4 tank breaking and I have yet to hear back.

oh i sanded the .... out of it, the primer is sticking just fine but the paint is chipping off. once u get the ss off i think its brass under it and under that is another metal not sure what it was.

also if u end up needing new glass https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...acement-glass-tank-for-smok-tfv4-sub-ohm-tank
