Hi guys,

Thought i'll share something i've done with my RSST.

Pulled out the insulator

inserted two 3mm silica wicks folded on themselves (3mm x 4) from below upwards. Coiled with 30awg A1. Very nice vapor and flavour. It has now become my favorite rba :)

P.S: I've put in a stopper with a tiny hole in place of the fill hole stopper.
no leak so far.

Too bad you can't just vape your note2. It does everything else.

Lol, that would make it perfect! All that I ordered was done right on this thing. I barely touch my laptopn and my tablet just looks pretty on the coffee table. ..

is the neg post wire suppose to glow i heard it is because it has a insulater the rest of the coil is glowing except that need help THANKS

That refers to the coil glowing when trying to pulse a coil to get it to oxidize a wick. If the coil is glowing evenly, from the middle out, and the top and bottom 'leg' that goes to the terminals isn't, you've got a good coil.

thanks staircaseWit but whats happen if my wick is oxidized and the bottom neg leg glows

Then your coil needs adjusting. Pulsing it on a mechanical mod will make it a lot easier.

Search for eHuman's blog. He explains everything you need to know pretty well. Or watch pbusardo's setup video, although he's a bit clumsy. :D

Hi,
i try and keep the lengths of both ends of the coil as even as possible and spread out the coil configuration evenly before i start checking for hot spots. The moment the hot spot appears, i start massaging it down or up depending on location until the other coils light up. From there on its easy. Once all the coils are lit,i massage the coils to fit snug on the wick and the excess gets folded towards the respective posts. This way my coils last a really long time.

Just got one of these in and it is pretty awesome other than the small air hole. I just set it up to a 1.7 so I could use it on a VW, but later I am going to set it up with a lower res and see how well it does. ON a side note. Had 3 brand new Ceramic wicks. Broke all 3 trying to snap them off to size. Anyone using ceramic know a simple way to get these down to size without getting cracking? Or a vendor that has them in stock at the moment. Not going to attempt fish wick as I dont have the patients to do so.

I used pliers with mine. just snip the end a little at a time till you get it where you need it, don't try to take to much with each crimp. Hold the wick as close as possible to the end your snipping.

I've read Discount Vapers is supposed to be getting some in soon and Tank still has some I think, although at a higher price.

Hey guys, I just got my rsst today, and I'm having a hot leg problem with the negative connection. Anyone else have this problem? It's a .7 ohm coil on a battery that is half charged

How did you wrap the coil? Is it making good contact with the wick without being too tight and diggin in? How did you roll your wick? Did you pre-oxidize, or are you trying to pulse?

Short answer: pulse and prod the coil. Spin the wick around a bit inside the coil. Pulse some more, move the wick around until it glows evenly. Do all this dry. Don't add any juice until the coil glows perfectly from the middle out.
