NVM, I've been considering a Telescope. I'm curious about the bottom button.

I had some concerns about the bottom button also, and to be honest, it was a little bit foreign for the first day. Now it's second nature and isn't an issue at all, I'm enjoying my telescope so much I've just ordered a second.

Do you all use your pinky, or are you able to hold it by the button and push the button up in other ways? Like, can you maybe grip it and grip tighter to activate the button? Or is it comfortable to use your 3 last fingers instead of just your pinky? I'm asking because I'm thinking of buying one of these buttt.. I don't want to use my pinky. Not at all. My pinky isn't very dexterous and when I use it for something, I get little cramps, or big cramps, or it feels weird.. So do you have to use it? Or can I use it with my other fingers comfortably?

Hello everyone. I have a quick question that I can't seem to find a simple answer for. I plan buying the Telescope tonight but unsure of the batteries. I will mostly use 18650's but would like the smallest ones as well just to play with around the house. I see 16340's as a choice but also 18350's?? What size batteries should I add to my order. Thanks for reading.

You'll want the 18350's, they're the 3.7 volt ones. I'm pretty sure the 16340's are 3.0 volt and are used for stacking and six volt vaping.

I normally use the 18490's in my Telescope, not too big and good battery life.

I mostly activate the button like Adam says...with the mod button supported at the base of my pinky...kind of in the "V" between the pinky and ring finger, and do a little squeezing motion to fire the mod. The pinky isn't really pushing up, it's more like a support. I also sometimes have the button resting on my ring finger and squeeze slightly up with it, instead...less of a fist hold, and more open. I have some arthritis in my hands and they don't suffer strain well. I don't find the button activation uncomfortable at all, but there was a little bit of a learning curve at first.

thanks fourthrok. question for adam the aussie, are the 18350s longer than the 16350s? I should probably just got check myself on madvapes but I get lost on that damn site. lol.

The short answer is no, they should both be the same length, but this varies a little bit between models. Basically with batteries, the first two digits indicate the width and the next two digits indicate the length.

So a 16350 should be 16ml wide and 35ml long, and an 18350 is 18ml wide and 35ml long. The variances appear across different brands, but that's what the numbers are supposed to indicate.

so a 18350 is like half the size of an 18650? wow thats a small mod.
Here's the telescope in 18350 mode next to a 650mah ego, it's quite stealthy.

I just got my black chrome ST telescope....and I love it! My 18650s..both button top and flat head work in it fine..no thread exposure. Love the solid feel and heft. Looks classy, too! And vapes GREAT! Totally sold on this. Feel NO need to go all status hungry and pay more for something just to say I did. This thing rocks!

I 100% agree!
