How do you test the voltage drop. With a brand new battery fresh of my nitecore charger it reads 4.21
When I fire it in the device even with my shortstop in it it still reads 4.21

Mhmm I thought it was as simple as putting your meter to measure voltage, applying your two prongs onto the 510 connections (one on center pin, other on threads) then firing the device to measure the voltage that gets to the 510 connection.

Another thing is that I thought internal resistance (in Ohms) was more important as this is all SS. I noticed when testing my freshly made coils and dry burning consistently, made the button warm.

Don't take my word on this, since I may be talking out of back end if someone more knowledgeable corrects this.

If you have a rba I'm pretty sure you just set it to voltage and put the black lead to neg and the red lead to pos and push the button. I havent checked mine yet because I'm getting a really good vape with a 1 ohm coil. I mean its no ihybrid but you cant beat it for the price. Bang for your buck.

Seems like instead of converting the top.into a hybrid...you could back that ss positive screw out of the plastic insulater and replace it with a brass one. Then do what he did on the bottom switch area with brass. Then you we wouldn't be stuck with only one atty on the top. You could put whatever you want on it.

I just got the natural....I like everything about it except the stiffness of the button. This is my first true mechanical device. Is the button supposed to be this stiff? Is there any way to adjust it? I am assuming I have to replace the spring inside. Any videos showing how to take out the button and replace the spring?

Any advice would be appreciated....thanks in advance.

One page back there is a link to a aussie forum (post #129) that shows the device completely disassembled, so you can get an idea on how to take it apart.

I did notice that it is a little stiff but I accustomed myself to hold the device in a sort of hammer grip so that the button is opposite of my palm and it makes it easier to press the button. Instead of holding the device with the button facing upwards. Although it does work out perfectly for me when I do hold it hammer grip style since my genesis wick is facing downwards.

Thanks....the pictures helped....I took it apart....they have the stiffest spring in there. Now I have to find a spring to replace it.

BTW the positive post is actually a screw. So the height of the positive post is actually adjustable.....so you can position your genny air hole however you like.

an easy way is to get something like this:
COV Voltage Meter v2
various vendors carry them

Oh I see. It needs to have a load to test.

On another note I like the stiffness of the spring, harder to accidentally trigger it. You actually have to "try" to push it to vape. All in all I'm happy with my purchase, it seems so far like its a well put together device for the money.
