Wow Is this the same Vivi tank we got? Can you please post more photos with the top off if possible and maybe some instruction on how it's done.

This isn't my picture but this is what both of my ViVi tanks now look like.

If you want to do the caps like this you can get the parts here:
Apollo E-2 you need the tank tube and 1 of the E1/E2/E3 Top stopper(make sure its the top Stopper).
I actually had all of the stuff to do both of my tanks in my spare parts bin.
The only tools needed are a pipe cutter, heat gun or torch(to separate the metal caps of the tank from the poly tube), and a small drill bit to drill a hole in the new cap.
I cut the vivi tube level with the top plate.
There is a supplier selling this exact item for $69 shipped.
You can get all the parts at http://DiscountVapers.com to make 3 of these(minus SS mesh and wire) for $59.42 Shipped priority.

I think that the TCB (or TBC whatever it is) tank atty might be the best of all 3.

This is comparing the ViVi tank converted to Genesis SS mesh wick vs. Phoenix knockoff with good silica wicks vs. tank atty with tank removed and good silica wicks. I think the tank atty generates nice TH, great vapor, holds a decent amount of fluid, and minimal dry hits even with no fluid.

On the other hand, the Phoenix atty "burns a new one" with a dry hit on low fluid!

Hey just following y'all over here, I'm finally getting around to mod my tanks, got 5 of them so I can definitely play with them. Life kinda got in the way, but now I'm just waiting on some #400 mesh, and some 32 aw kanthal, gotta find some nr wire, and I am now playing with the idea of putting a cotton cap on the coil, I'm assuming some gauze will work fine… right?

You dont really need NR wire just lean the wick towards the center post.

So from the pics and the video I conclude the heating chamber just presses onto the cut off vivi tank. Is it a tight fit?

Just did a quick measurement with calipers and the O.D. for the Vivi RB Tank and the Vivi Nova Tank are the same, so it looks like you are right about it just slipping over the heating/juice chamber and it probably is a fairly firm fit.

Quite a clever mod. Biz

I'm curious about the size of hole he drilled into the Vivi Nova cap. I did a 5/64 on the original mod with the stock tank and it was a little airy for me, so on the next I drilled it to 1/16, guess I will do mine Vivi Nova top at 1/16 to start and see how that works out.

The cap isn't very pocket friendly but it isn't loose.

I believe the hole was 3/32 but im not positive. It's big I'm used to it but you don't need that big of a hole.

1mm to 1.2mm is what is usually used for an air hole.

That's good to know and I guess it was a stroke of luck since my smallest drill bit was 0.0625in which is 1.5875000mm, one size down from 5/64 in my little drill bit index.

Thanks for the updates, too, Biz...great job!
