Those are some big air holes drilled in some of the videos. Mine are much smaller; I'm happy with using a #58 bit (a search says that's a 1.05mm bit).

I've now modded 3 of my tanks. 2 are running SS Genesis style as we've seen in the videos. I took a 3rd one, closed up the post air holes top & bottom, drilled out the factory wick holes to accept a 3mm silica wick, and drilled the tank air hole. Running the silica larger wick with a 6 wrap 1.8 ohm coil, it is super nice. I'd highly suggest this mod to someone that doesn't want to mess with SS wicks.

Also now batting 100% with the tank posts coming out from either the base or the top plate. I've sure gotten handy with a solder gun and JB Weld lately!

If you want to do the caps like this you can get the parts here:
Apollo E-2 you need the tank tube and 1 of the E1/E2/E3 Top stopper(make sure its the top Stopper).
I actually had all of the stuff to do both of my tanks in my spare parts bin.
The only tools needed are a pipe cutter, heat gun or torch(to separate the metal caps of the tank from the poly tube), and a small drill bit to drill a hole in the new cap.
I cut the vivi tube level with the top plate.
There is a supplier selling this exact item for $69 shipped.
You can get all the parts at http://DiscountVapers.com to make 3 of these(minus SS mesh and wire) for $59.42 Shipped priority.

ya missed the boat here,,that guy is selling these pretty darn fast now

I started a coop planning & discussion for the items that were suggested earlier by few members. These things look great for the price even though I am sure they will never be as good as a GG but even if they are half as good then I think they are still a great value. Does anyone know anything about these UD products? Here is the link:

I received this from BrotherFrankie's charity and I thought I post it here to thank everyone participating in the coop.

"Thank you so much for your recent donation of $86.00* to Matthew’s Hope. Your generosity will play a key role in helping us meet the needs of our homeless neighbors in West Orange County. We are going into our second year for Frankie Gallo's Life Recovery Support Group. Your gift will allow more of our guests in the support group to give up smoking with the help of electronic cigarettes. Thank you for helping them face and overcome this unhealthy addiction.

Matthew's Hope began as a cold weather shelter and quickly grew into a full time ministry to offer year round services to our homeless friends. We hope that you will continue to stand with us as we work to not only meet the basic needs of this community, but to provide the support and resources they often need to improve their individual situations. Whether it’s financially, or a donation of your time, resources or services, please continue to join us in lending a hand where we can. More importantly, we hope you will join us in this prayer"
