So, I put my vmax in my pocket with a vivi nova
tank and the top cap came off and broke the positive and negative wires free from the solder points on the board. I usually take off whatever I have attached to the device before pocketing it, but alas I failed to do that this time. I was wearing quite loose fitting jeans at the time, but whatever.
Tomorrow I plan to try to solder the wires back to the circuit board. Then I'll either gorilla glue or jb weld the top cap on once and for all. I'm thinking of ordering a provari to take with me out and about and relegate the vmax to home use, due to the lack of sturdiness. But before I go buying a provari that's double the price of the vmax (provape really nickels and dimes their customers imho) does the zmax have the same press fit top cap design?
I honestly hate to spend so much money, but I need something that's more durable.
