I think you mean the TRAP tank :)

I know 'cause I've been eyeing that one myself. Looks great and should look even better on the SS max. What are your impressions of it thus far?

It's a really nicely made tank, nice draw from it too (Arry 4 is way too airy) filling it is easy enough but checking how much liquid I have left is going to be a pain. Capacity isn't great (2.3ml in tank) but I don't mind because it looks so nice.

It cost me $45 which is pricey but it will look awesome on the ss - photos on Monday!

Hi everyone
Just had to pop in and say I just got my first VMAX and so far I love it. I haven't got to try it with my dual coil tank yet but I'm hoping that will make using my tank a little more enjoyable

Black VMAX from canvape.com

Your DCT on the VMax will knock your socks off :)

As much as I like my V2 letting me turn off the display, I really like having it set to the resistance and coming on. As I swap different atty's and cartos on it it's really handy to see the actual resistance of each one so I can gauge it's performance. Some of my stash surprised me and this is handy to really know what I'm vaping. Some SR's are showing up at 2.6, some all the way up to 3.2!

Now if there just was a swiss army knife attachment...

440BB,

I'm right there with you about the resistance checking. I loved way it was implemented on the Young June Vtube 1.5t, where a single click of the power button gives atty/carto resistance, then set voltage, and the battery remaining graphic. Before getting my Vmax, I was a little worried that checking resistance would be a hassle with the multi-click-and-wait morse-code menu format, but being able to set the display to automatically show resistance every time you take a hit is quite wonderful.

The weird thing is that I get a completely satisfying, full vape at 3.3 volts with seemingly any carto I try, from 1.7 to 3.2 ohms. I don't know how the Vmax achieves that, but it's brilliant! In practice, it's almost like a wattage (power) regulated device, like the Darwin/Kick/DNA. I know that's not true technically, but my Vmax performs like it. Set-and-forget. I no longer need to factor in the resistance of a particular carto, since no voltage change seems required. Just slap on whatever filled carto I have within reach and the Vmax vapes it perfectly.

All I can say is that 3.3 volts on a Vmax sure as heck isn't the same as 3.3 volts on an eGo (or anything else, for that matter, including my other 21 VV mods). Not even close. I don't know if it's the sheer power of the device that makes it different or the PWM implementation or what, but it's an entirely different universe.

Have you tried higher ohm DC cartos on it yet? On the 2.5ohm ST DC's 5v was my sweet spot for many juices.

Well, I bit the bullet and bought a VMAX. Its hear already and works great! But I need more batteries. Where would a good place be? I would like to get some cartos at the same time. Im not to interested in using an adapter, so dont want the fusions. What else is there? I have Boge 2.0 and 3.0 already. Should I look into something different? Thanks.

fuzzi,

I converted all my 1.5 ohm DCs to 3.0 ohm single coils (using VAPNJ's snip-the-wire-coming-out-of-the-top-of-the-tube method). I still have some intact DC 2.0s and 2.5s in my stash, but i haven't tried them on the Vmax yet. Heck, the highest voltage I've ever set on the Vmax was 4.5 volts for about two tokes on a 3-ohm carto, and that was more intensity than I needed. I also noticed what seemed some flavor loss at that level, so I dialed back to where the flavor was maxed, which for me was 3.3 volts. (Just for reference, I frequently vape at 5 volts and even higher on many of my other mods/APVs.)

If you like the Vmax at 5 volts, more power to you. (Maybe that should be the Vmax slogan: "More power to you!")

Understood Bill, I dare say however that dusting off your 2.5DC's and trying them on your vmax at higher voltage might surprise you. It's not so much they give a 'hard' and therefore uncomfortable hit at higher voltage but a 'full' and satisfying one. At least for me it does and I'm not a 'turn it up to 11' type of vaper either. It's where the extra oomph of the vmax really shines I think, and for that matter, can actually be used. It's a different experience than 4.5v on an 3ohm SC. The caveat is certainly different strokes depending on your tastes but if you've got the higher DC's and the vmax already on hand the experience is probably worth sampling.

Well you got the 2 best tasting cartos already under the Fusions, CCV has the best price on both. Efest batteries and Boges, thats all you need.
