Now I just need to a solid tank. I'm assuming the VMAX is 510 threaded. Should I pick up a Boge 3.0? I'm a sucker for tanks.
I think you'll find at least 3 people here including yours truly recommending the Boge 801 Fusion XL's 3ohm. You need a 501 adapter for them but if function over form is truly what you're after the adapter won't matter. They do not come prepunched but do have a bottom flange of sorts. I also really like the ST DC 2.5ohm prepunched with flange but these have proven extremely inconstent for me. Hard to get a good one in a batch of bad ones. But the good ones work fantastic with the vmax. As for tanks the sky is the limit of course but I've had good luck with my Smoktech DCT's, both 4 and 6.5ml which can be had for cheap and perform reasonably well.
I'd get a Smok DCT, a carto punch and some xxl standard Boges. A ming style drip will stop the tank from sliding off the carto and you'll enjoy a very nice vape. You could pick up a fancy tank but essentially it'll give you the same results that you'd get with a DCT and punched Boges. Personally speaking, I'd avoid the Smoktech cartos, they're inconsistent and generally not that great.Great, thanks for the help you two. Im sticking to my guns and saying get a vivi nova with 2.8ohm heads for a tank. Im still waiting for higher ohm heads to come out. I know the new stardust will have 3 & 4 ohm heads in the same style as the nova. Hopefully they will be dual compatible.

I was walking in the living room bare foot with the beast on my right hand and out of the blue it just slipped off!! but with a quick muscle reflex I managed to soften the blow by sticking my right foot out and sacrificing my big toe lol right on the nail=PAIN but the beast lives!
I have some Ikenvape mega cartos, and a couple of vapor cannons coming. I can't wait to fire up them bad boys, on my Vmax!

yeah, one thing I noticed about the black vmax. When I first got it, it has like a matte black finish to it but since I've been using the black one more than my silver one the finish seems to be shiny now. I'm guessing from skin oils or something lol most likely the cause of the slippage.
Yea...same thing...the newer versions are marketed by some vendors as 4ml.

Omg! I'm so tempted to buy the SS. I don't need it but i want it sooooo bad. I have more mods then i can use but the vmax is my favorite. i can't even think about the others.
Should i buy groceries or a ss vmax? It wouldn't hurt me to lose some weight and the kids are gone for most of the summer. My husband can live on sandwiches.

I got some dunhill and black n mild here and wondering what your setup is. Ive been on the vivi with 2.8's at around 4v. I use all vg tho sans my flavoring.
