Jimi, what equipment do you use on your vmax right now to vape your vapingzone diy's? And at what voltage?

I got some dunhill and black n mild here and wondering what your setup is. Ive been on the vivi with 2.8's at around 4v. I use all vg tho sans my flavoring.
I'm using the smok 1.5ohm XL duals from madvapes. My sweet spot is 3.7v on the V1.

The flat tops:laugh: worked when I first installed them. They were at 4.2 and 4.19 off of a Intellicharger i4 2nd gen. After turn off, I had to unscrew the cap 2 turns to get it to come back on. The fire button blinked on vape so I pulled them out, they were at 4V. I thinking they may have been loose because of the cap or the earth mag shifted. No problems after installing tip batteries. BTW I read somewhere that in a stack configuration even though they are in series the batteries discharge at different rates so they should be rotated after charging. The second battery should be put in first, first second battery put in first to keep them pair up. The lights, the power, lumbering through the menu I love this thing

Im sticking to my guns and saying get a vivi nova with 2.8ohm heads for a tank. Im still waiting for higher ohm heads to come out. I know the new stardust will have 3 & 4 ohm heads in the same style as the nova. Hopefully they will be dual compatible.

I am going to try the dct setup tho next month for the heck of it. I just dont like cartos. I use em but I taste filler always.

Man, I couldn't agree more. I can't speak for cartos on the VMax - I'm still waiting for mine in the mail, but that filler taste is unbearable. I went ahead and picked up two of these based off a couple reviews I read so now it's time to stalk the USPS and ride the eGo wave until it arrives!

My current incoming inventory includes:

VMax Black
2 x 18350 AW IMR 700mAH Batt +
UltraFire WF-188 3.2V Charger
2 x Vivi Nova v2.5

Am I missing any hardware?

Thanks for all the help and suggestions all :)

Your right to an extent about the stacked batteries discharging in most stacked mods. BUT...with the VMAX it's NOT an issue or needed. The VMAX actually has circuitry inside that monitors both batteries "individually" by taking the AVG voltage between the 2 combined and keeping those voltages even, both batteries stay at the same voltage and discharge evenly within a tenth (.10) sometimes a hundredth (.100) of a volt. I've personally been keeping track of battery voltage thru the discharge cycle down to the 6.4v "Lo" warning, everytime it's time to re-charge the batteries show 3.210-3.230. Thats one of the single most important circuitry's in the VMAX that keeps it VERY safe to use.

Did not know that. Sounds like good info

I have found the one thing about my VMax I don't like. The cut off! I hate it!! I really wish it was longer, uh.....er.....maybe I should put that another way. I wish it would vape longer before the cut off.

I have found something else interesting tho. I loaded a carto with some straight vg juice and man o man, my VMax turned into a serious vapor machine! I finally found a juice it won't burn up! :). So maybe I need to bump up the vg in some of my faves?

Anyone else find vg is easier to vape with the VMax

I have found that also. It's a great home device.

Thanks for that tip on the heavier VG juice. Gonna start mixing!

I get at least 2 solid days...48 hours of moderate vaping out of mine, equipped with AW IMR's. I use the vmax 80% of my total vaping time. Pretty happy about the battery time actually.
That's cool. I use duals most of the time, and I vape every 2 minutes. I also have the AW IMR's. I get about 4 to 5 hours, then when it gets to 6.8, the device resets.

Came across this ad Googling info: eCigarette - Complete SMOKtech VMAX eCig Kit

I don't know where this is but it looks like a good deal if you're local.

Over double population growth in 8 years.. hm.. ..sounds like good times.:p

You guys should try 100% VG. Im like a human fog machine. Talk about vapor! Im kinda glad Im PG intolerant to an extent. My girlfriend looks at me funny when I chain vape and fog up the room. Now I do it on purpose just for a laugh. I know I shouldnt but.... I just have too. Now that I have my Vmax its even worse. Last night she said, " Im gonna take that thing away from you." I said, "You will have to kill me, chop off my head, bury it, and eat the rest of me before you get my Vmax. And frankly you dont look hungry enough" puff... puff... puff... FOG.
