Don't know if this helps, but last time I ordered international, it showed arriving in NY. 5 days later it arrived at my house. Never updated the tracking to show it left NY

A couple of things I have noticed with the newest versions (reset to 3 volts)

A better tuned voltage screen

A little bit less power but still has tons of power

Lcd screen can also be turned off with the button light

I think I'll be picking up one of these newer versions once they're more available and at a good price. Best of all worlds I think with the tuned and raw versions sitting beside each other. Make mine chrome with blue led's please. Again, I'm hoping the chrome finish is reasonably durable; I'm pleasantly surprised at how the black one is holding up. Still looks brand new after heavy use.

New vmax review.

VaporChase Review - SmokTech VMax from Canvape - YouTube

Thus far it's the most accurate I've seen. Properly identifes the pros and cons in an impartial and balanced manner. A little surprised the reviewer did not comment on the fact that you 'can' get them for cheaper than ST's forced $128 price, as it's fairly common knowledge by now. He has a problem with the $128 and I can't honestly say I blame him. Other than that, and as an owner of a v.1 vmax, I'd say this is a pretty fair assessment of the device.

So I guess what your saying is PBusardo's review wasn't accurate or honest???

Every now and then, the button light flashes after its released. Anybody have an idea why?

Thats probably the 10 second cut off light your seeing, the blue led inside/button flash a few times when you hold the fire button down longer than 10 seconds, it's the "10 second cutoff warning light"

Received these a couple of AW IMR 18350s today from a "Big" UK supplier, they do not work in the Vmax ???

They do not appear to be Genuine AWs but poorly constructed FAKES ......... as you can see from the Pic it has a Flat Top and 850 mah rating, the plastic coating is also very thin and nearly see through ???

Million Dollar question is are these safe to use in the Vmax

I wouldn't use them, unless the vendor can show you that AW is now making an 850 mAh 18350 IMR, as opposed to the 700 mAh battery, that just happens to also have a thin cover. I'm not seeing an AW 18350 IMR other than the 700 mAh, checking multiple vendors.

Once you believe something is counterfeit you have zero comfort as to what the heck the battery really is, whether or not it is even a manganese high-current chemistry.

(The place you bought them from could indeed be an upright shop -- AW counterfeits have hit good vendors before. Let them know your concerns, see if they make good.)

I WOULD NOT use them at all !!! They have and show different maH ratings 700/850. 1st most important rule to stacking batteries : ONLY STACK BATTERIES THAT ARE THE "SAME EXACT" BATTERIES TOP OVER BOTTOM. You really don't know what that flat top is. It could be a ICR or NIMH battery for we/you know. Better to be safe than SORRY.
