I just picked up one of these. My first intro to VV vaping was a LT I won (I had been using a GLV-2). I liked the ability to match voltage to the juice, and was saving up for a ProVari. However, the black plastic battery cap fell off of the LT (I have a replacement coming, but don't know when) which makes it substantially harder to change out the batteries. As I wanted an "instant gratification" purchase as a replacement, I went to the local B&M and picked up the VMax.

So far I'm very impressed. The flavor, TH, and clouds are all better than the LT. As a plus, it uses the same charger and batteries as the GLV-2, so I didn't need to buy anything but the mod.

Time will tell, but so far I like it.

Fat, we welcome you to the Vmaxhood Society of Uncompromising Vapers.

The SS looks great. I'd be very interested in impressions from someone who actually manages to get one in hand. Strange there are no visible SMOK/VMAX logos. I wouldn't be surprised if this is simply a nickel coating made to look like SS but that wouldn't dissuade me from buying one. I figure I can use my v1 'hottie' for DC setups and the new more 'civilized' version for single coils.

EDIT: This version should look great with my new DID SS rebuildable atty, en route to me now.

In Europe we have both, the chrome and the SS. The one at the foto is the SS for sure. The lines are shorter, and at the top and bottom it has kind of points. That makes it diferent plus the SS is weighing a little less then the copper chrome or black ones, due too the other metal.
Do you know who has them in stock or pre-order? If you wanted the "beast" in steel it would be easy enough to pop the top cap from the inside and swap out the electronics...

Someone else mentioned they are available for pre-order on timeeast.net. I have personally not dealt with this vendor before.

OK I HOPE that it is STAINLESS STEEL because ACCORDING to the DESCRIPTION on the VMAX BOX it says STAINLESS STEEL, BUT it is a CHROME OVERLAY and YES I HAVE PROOF:

Interesting. Although yours does look different than the one with the provari-like indentations on the caps, even the latter looks like it's chrome plated to me. But it's hard to tell from a pic...whether it's chrome plated or highly polished ss. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it's the latter but somehow I doubt it.
