You sure you bought enough there J? I mean, by my calculations this is only a 125 year supply
But for all I know you're also building a chicken coop.
Least I'm not the only one...and you where bustin my balls lol. Oh well I'll have lots to spare for any of the vmax crew if they get in a bind:D

Thats exactly why I got so much, if the wire gets scarce for a while on ebay again and everyone with their new DID runs out, ...........we gotcha. Just know you have a invisible safety net.

Just a reminder to those who have recently posted here enquiring about cartos. Believe Freddie and J and their repeated posts in this thread recommending the Boge 801 Fusions. I'm a complete believer now. Been using nothing but for the last few days and can't say enough about them. If you use cartos in or out of a tank but remain disatisfied then the Fusions are the ones to try next. These are serious cartos for the discriminating vaper. Would recommend the XL size, 3.0 ohm on your vmax. Don't forget to get the 510 adapter. And extra juice.

I for one plan to go with nothin but rebuildable for the flavour and better throat hit, hoping to drop another nic level to 6mg when I start this venture plus I love to tinker. Got 2 roles of a1 32 kanthal, 1 role of a1 34 kanthal and a role of 34 nichrome to make some higher ohmed atties for the v1 vmax.:D

My V1 has button problems!

If you hold the button down for more than a second, the display comes on but then goes off straight away. If you're doing single button presses it's not a problem but other than that it's dead in the water.

Does it exhibit this behavior with a fresh set of fully charged batteries?
Have you tried swapping out the carto/atty to another?

Ok folks....I'll say it again....I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING LR SINGLE COILS ON THE VMAX. ESPECIALLY THE 1.7 OHM RESURRECTORS. ""THEY WILL FRY, BURN, IMP-LOAD...kidding they won't imp-load. But believe me nothing good comes of it.

3 ohm single coils or 2 ohm dual coils work the absolute best.
LR was made to go on a 3.7 volt "low" amperage device to "simulate " 5v vaping. When you put a LR anything on a VV device you defeat the entire purpose of even using a VV device.
Take care all.

Oh yeah ...after testing the E'fest last night, I got up to 5 amps so far , doing a true 10 amp test tonight. So far all I can say about the E'fest 18350 IMR batteries is ..............HOLY POWERFUL BATTERY

+1000000 on this.

I always try to tell people that and they get mad....seems the newbies of the vaping world has been led to believe "must have lower ohms the lower the better!" lol.

Thats the only problem that has arisen from the V1 so far, other than the outrageous complaint from certain users that it's too strong and powerful. WAaa Waaaa WAaaaaaa, go get a eGo if you want wimpy. Kidding. Anyway....it seems that on the V1 units here and there the actual tactile type button, thats under the plastic/acrylic push button, is a button that is obviously directly soldered to the board. These particular tactile button do have a bit of a weakness to the.....the outward spring that allows this type of tactile to spring back out after pushing and disengage, at some point whether it be, pushing it extremely and entirely too hard, dropping it and it landing directly on the button, putting it in a case thats too tight and it's pushing directly on the button(or a tight pocket maybe) etc......at any rate you get the idea I hope. When this happens the weakness of that small internal spring either snaps, overintends, or is shifted of it's axis point then does not spring outward, or causing the button to have that "ghost touch" type action. No more click in or outward. My opinion, it hasn't been 6 months since the release so all warraties from Smoktech are still active. If the vendor you received it from will not warranty it, ""AND THEY SHOULD"" with no problem or issue, you can always ship it back to Smoktech yourself. And yes it's worth it, I've done the math already, not as much as most would assume. Now your 2nd immediate thought is...."but it won't be the so called "BEAST".....thanks to Freddie for that term being related to scary monsters in the night that instill fear into all children and....... the VMAX !! lol. Thanks Freddie !!! Anyway, I've got 3 units now with a 4th on it's way, the 1st CHROME prototype made(in my avatar), the V1 black beauty or the Beast(in my avatar), and the Stainless Steel, and ofcourse the Gun Metal is in route to me now. I've tested all 3 of these side by side.....Listen folks, though their is a ""slight"" voltage tune from the V1 to the V2....TRUST ME.... in the raw numbers and data, you can not tell the difference in vape, flavor, TH, vapor production and/or overall experience with the units. Both versions are absolutely INCREDIBLE !!!! If anyone has a problem getting a warranty claim going PM me and I'll see if I can't give you a hand getting the ball rolling. I think I covered anyone and everyones primary concerns when and if they would or will ever have to claim warranty on their unit, if not feel free to ask further questions and I'll do my best to answer and help you figure it out. Take care everyone. ...........J

A short while ago I tried using my V1 again after I had charged the 18350's I was using earlier but with no joy, tried a different carto - no joy. Finally I got a large rasp file that I use for making holes in box mods and used the wooden handle to tap the body of the Vmax.

It's working now - don't know what I did but it's back again, just hope it stays working!

The stainless I ordered is still in Germany so I won't get it until Monday - I'm hoping the V1 will keep me going or I'm going to have to use Twists or a Lava - these are really no comparison to the Vmax though.

Today I received my Kir Fanis Trip tank which I bought specifically for the steel - dying to see what it looks like on the ss version;

I think you mean the TRAP tank :)

I know 'cause I've been eyeing that one myself. Looks great and should look even better on the SS max. What are your impressions of it thus far?
