The Vmax/DiD combo is working amazingly well for me

Check back in a couple hours for the E'fest batteries. (from the post above)

It's working great as far as form function etc.......vapor production is remarkable.....BUT !!!!! THEIR IS NOOOO FLAVOR PRODUCTION AT ALL !!! It's like vaping 50/50 unflavored nic . It's rediculous. Im soo pi55ed off about this purchase I've seen pure RED since I got it. coils are flawlessly perfect, wick...perfect, cooils are glowing evenly. I don't get how everything is working exactly as it should be but not even 1 minut trace of anything remotely close to a flavor in the vape at all. .....So let down over all the hipe about this unit. 1st the GT-US (don't even get me goin on that thing....we'll be here all day) and now this. Im about to call the ball on rebuildables, begining to think their all garbage and no one will just come out and say it. Hopefully Im wrong. My 801 fusions outperform a 100+ dollar R.A by ten fold easy......who'd a thunk it? Rant done !!! Sorry folks, I only have a few pep peeves but thr 1 at the very tip top is I DO NOT WASTE MONEY EVER ON ANYTHING, I work too hard for my money to throw it away on something useless. As do we all.

J, I recall you having posted 'Holy Flavor' in the DID thread about your initial experience with the DID. What happened?

Where did you get the pyrex tank for the DID?

The vapour chamber on that looks to be the same size and shape as the chamber on my Genesis Mini, and it doesn't give near the flavour as my Orion. From what I've been able to gather from threads across several different forums, the smaller the chamber the better the flavour production--which is why the G-Bell seems to be so remarkable (according to reports). I just wish Les offered an atty version of the Orion rather than just the hybrid.

I'd offer to buy or trade for the DID, just to try it out, but I'm broke for another week and just off two weeks of intensive trading and so all traded out. At least you won't have a problem selling/trading in the classies if you decide to pass it along... :)

Actually my very 1st setup with it was no flavor also, then the next day I re-worked my setup a bit thinkin my coils may be too loose on the wick......NOPE, that wasn't it. So I did another wick and changed my coil wrapping to off the did instead of while the while the wick is in it....much easier and much better hold, tightness, and spacing...perfect. Than I filled it up after finally seeing all the coils glowing evenly, for the 1st time........and wow the flavor woke up. I didn't do 1 thing but set it down long enough to post that outcome...picked it back up...and WTH......flavor GONE and hasn't returned since, thats when I edited the post. So yeah....thats it in a nutshell. VERY DISAPPOINTED AT THIS POINT, looks like I'll be trading or selling a GT-US & my DID together for something I really want that works for me.

Hey J, I recall reading that tobacco flavors are going to be a bit flavorless in a gen atty, have you tried anything else it it? Also maybe you could try using the did with silica wick, vapoligy sells 1.5mm wick cheap so I would give that a go for the hell of it, maybe mesh is not for you. What is that pyrex tank your using??

It's been some months but how many holes are u guys putting in your cartos for tanks? I have dual coil xlg one hole towards bottom as it used to be done but the wicking to the top coil is lousy...
Whenever I put more than one hole it always seems a bit too much wicking.... Ideas?

If those are Smoktech XL's they have a very thin and loose, too many holes and the filler can't hold on to the juice so it floods out the bottom, however if you put a very small hole at the top right under the top "when assembled" and put it on the opposite side of the bottom hole and have it facing yoy when you take a draw, it will be covered with juice only when your vaping and hold your device at that 45 degree angle to take a draw. It will feed the top coil as it needs....the key is the size of the hole (very small) and location. Being at the top the juice still has to flow thru all the filler before leaking out the bottom. More holes at the bottom just over saturate the filler and all the juice is at the bottom and has no choice but to leak,...gravity.

It all depends on what you are using to punch your cartos! In the Boge 801 3.0 ohm Standard Fusions I use a 5 HOLE PUNCH PATTERN! I use the "TINY MITE" carto punch from Carolina Vapes! It makes the right size hole and with a 5 HOLE PUNCH PATTERN on the 801 Fusions, I get NO LEAKS! Here's the "TINY MITE" carto punch:

No idea,a tiny barely noticeable plume of smoke went up from the top and that`s all she wrote....it was sitting straight on my desktop
Which version did you have? VAPNJ350 is right though and that is to go back to the vendor where you purchased it from and get another unit from them being under WARRANTY!
