I wanna know how the vivi compares to the dct and fusions setup tho. Anyone have experience to share on that? Id like to hear from someone whos tried both before I pull the trigger next week on a dct setup with fusions.

Hey Buff,,,,,do you have a short tank in your arsenal? (for 40mm Boge shorts) If so let me know...I'll send you out a box of fusions pre done ready for tank insertion and leave 1 0r 2 untouched so you can see how good they are by their-self also. I'm about to order the Vivi today strictly due to your praises, I do have the V2 stone tank which has actually been a great performer considering it's a CE-2 type of setup but kinda not also, to be a top coil with drop-down wicks, they are rather thick and the wicking on this tank is exeptional. It takes about 10-20 min. to break in the coil due to how beefy they made em but the thing won't pop and never a dry or burnt taste yet...ever. So Im hoping if this tank is this good the ViVi should be phenomenal. (Fingers crossed) After spending a bit over $200.oo bucks on my last 2 tank investments and being absolutely, not only let down but DISGUSTED, I am proceeding with much caution with future purchases when it comes to R.A's, tanks, ....hell everything. lol

Let me know about the tank, shoot I have so many I could maybe even shoot you one of my shorty S.T. DCT's Shorts if need be. Let me know brotha.....take care.

Oh DAMN...Did I mention I am waiting on 2 Scubagen V3 Minis and a Hellfire too...Hahaha...LOL! :D

Well, I figure I have about as much chance of talking you out of the Hellfire , but since you have two of the Sgv3 minis on the way, keep in mind I have a GTankUS and an Electra Pipes Genesis LV here (I don't seem to get on with the top-fed gennies).

I figure that way I have two chances--slim and fat!

That's rad! I'd like to hear how it stacks up in your opinion vs those high dollar systems.

Out of all these different setups, which was the most flavorful and dependable?

I use the Vivi now buffalo turned me onto and it's been amazing STOCK!

I haven't even had a chance to check them all out yet, and have even more on the way :)
They're ALL going to be worthy of praise is my feeling with pro's and con's for each. Combine this with different strokes and folks, someone's 'perfect setup' may not necessarily be yours. However, with theasking price of most of these goods (with the exception of the DID RBA...not a throwaway cost at $100), I'd say it's worth trying them all.

I'm presently in RBA mode at the moment getting excellent results doing da DID. But like I said before RBA's are not for everyone as they're time consuming and fiddly to get right in the beginning.

Right now I'm rotating the DID, the 801 Fusion/DCT setup (this will always remain in rotation), the bottom coil Phoenix/Firebird/CE3's which I think are extraordinary, and some regular Kanger cartos on my Volt X2 or iTaste batteries for travel/car use. I like all of these setups as each offers something a little unique and provides me the ability to quickly swap flavors. I don't believe I'll ever see the day when I'll be happy with just one setup.

I actually have never tried a dct setup yet. Was planning to buy a 3.5ml dct with the stainless top and bottom, but had to upgrade on my vmax and the vivi and phoenix bottom coils I had ordered came in first. So I put my wallet away till the firat week of July, next week.

What I know is that Ive never had good luck with cartos in general. Ive tried boges and resurrectors but I can always taste the filler and the vapor seems, hard to describe, um... plentiful but yet... not very beefy? Like there is no weight to the vapor, or feel. So they kinda always taste off from the filler flavor wise and then the vapor is there but it feels very light.

Now Ive had good luck with ce3 type top coils or "eliq carts" as they are called for the ego-w type. They are like a mimi stone tank imo. I started on small tanks like the gravity/vacum fed 510-t, and ego-c. (btw, the 510-t oddly enough from a taste/practicality standpoint should prolly be praised much higher that it ever was) and they all work flawless for me with decent flavor... yet, the vivi makes em all look bad.... tbh.

Hence why Im wondering if its even worth buying the whole dct setup seeing as for me personally.... Im not a fan of cartos.

Vapnj I appreciate the offer, but I could wait to hear what you think of the vivi by comparison. Im in no hurry.

Oh and Im a fan of the 1.5ml phoenix too, but still the flavor is muted a bit with those. Right now, i got my Buffalobacco in the vivi and Im being amazed. This is my ciggy recipe Ive worked on since the day I started vaping full time, over 30 versions of it, and it never tasted this good, even direct dripping it.

About New SS Vmax from CCV
I need another APV like I need another hole in my head but I find the deal on SS with batteries more temping than I am able to resist.
So what I want to know is does it have the red display or the blue?
Thanks
The BLUE LED is just a light display NOT digital readings! The QUALITY on the other hand is far BETTER in the SS VMAX! I will be DEFINITELY picking up 2 more of them! One for sure this coming week GUARANTEED! :D

Maybe I should have asked a different question
Is it the overpowered (3 is like 4 v) one or does it have the re-tuned PCB with blue display? I guess I will find out when it arrives on Tuesday

After testing the V1 & V2 MAX's on the LeCroy 312-A Oscilloscope multiple times and a few other testing devices for other parameters the only difference as far as the raw numbers show is 1.75V less on the V2 that the coils sees from the PWM. To explain in short: The V1 PWm allowed the coil to see the fully charged voltage of the batteries within the pulse in the high pulses and with a higher Duty%. So if the batteries showed 8.1V then at that milisecond within the peak of the PWm the coil was given 8.1v, but also given 0V,2.4v,4.3v,5.5v...but in Average Voltage still showing/giving the coil the voltage set for output. The V2 has somewhat downtuned the PWM just a bit (but honestly it's not noticeable by the user as I have both) where the coil sees 1.75V less than the batteries max voltage which honestly I have found to be very nice.

Notice: The series of voltages stated are in no way factual, they were strictly for analogy purposes to show hypothetically how it operates in the simplest of terms. I hope this clears up any misconceptions or false-hoods. Take care everyone. Please take note of the post # for future reference and members in the future that want to know the difference in the so far 2 versions.
