What is the difference between the stainless steel Vmax and the Chrome vmax? Could someone put their pics side by side? I don't understand, the chrome would be shinyer but places charge 5$ more for the stainless steel.

Also the Chrome has the little squiggly lines on the top/bottom cap. The SS has the dimples milled into the top/bottom caps like in the pic above, those are the SS with dimples.

I just ordered a new SS vmax with the ego top cap from CCV $85.43 shipped including a set of efests. (coupon code 1STYEAR) They will be in stock and shipped next week. Coupon good til tomorrow.

I think the code Expires at midnight TONIGHT so if anyone is wanting a VMAX you better hurry !!!!!!!!

I've been told it's a 15% off code but thats unheard of for them. Better get while the gettin's good !!

I might just go ahead and pay for the next finish now. lol....

Alright All.

Been keeping an eye on everything for sometime now and thought I should update. Like anyone really cares. :p

I have the Vmax, but needed batteries. Everyone said the Efest were the best, so I ordered some (8), plus charger back in June. They are now stuck in NY custom since the 4th.
Thank the Gods CCV just had a discount code come out and I bought two efest because I am TIERED of waiting.

So, hopefully, later this week I will get the batteries and have to read everything you all have posted this past year just to keep up.

This is just an FYI in case I come in asking stupid or redundant questions.

Thanks!!

They're prototypes/test shots - they were never released with that finish. Steel Smoktech Vmax;

Would it be wise to order from timeeast.net and what version would they have? Getting batteries from the US is very difficult at the moment and not all of my go to US suppliers have the Vmax in stock yet. smoktek.com and COV are both in Florida I believe and thats where packages to South Africa is shipped from so makes it quicker and easier.

I reckon it would be better to support your local vendor.

Looks suspiciously familiar looking.... Oddly it looks exactly like the blue LED version someone posted seeing in Germany..... Maybe what SmokTech told you was true and that is why they said there was no blue LED version, it was a Uniq version all along.....

The one with blue display and ego connection is a bit bigger (the topcap is a bit bigger)

I wrote a couple of vendors, and the Ego/blue display one is an original vmax from Smoktech.

@ Errol....Buddy I completely forgot and overlooked I was suppose to post a explanation about something for you. Can you please take a minute and refresh my memory as to what it was pertaining to ? I just found in my note pad I was suppose to do this but I didn't write down what it was for. Thanks buddy.

** Congrats Zenoth on your new MAX....glad to hear your really diggin' it....yeah the LT just doesn't compare in ANY WAY, SHAPE, FORM, or FUNCTION to the VMAX.

Hey guys,

Been using my VMax for a few weeks now, and loving it until I ran into a problem the other day (Friday). It was in my pocket during a movie, and when I got out, it was no longer working. I think the tank

When I connect any 510 cartos (tank, resurrector, Boge), and press the button, it doesn't activate. I get the blue button as if it's firing, but no connection, vapor, etc. The only thing I can think of is that the tank I had connected did something to the threading - when I got the tank (pic attached) it seemed like there was almost an extra part on the bottom of the carto threading.

There were no drops or anything before this happened.

Any thoughts? Am I screwed? Bummed out....

Using a Chibi tank mod with Boge 3.0s when it happened. Also attaching a photo of the VMAX and the threading, although it doesn't show very well.

The outside part of the 510 connection has snapped off in the Vmax's atty connection.
These are very difficult to get out - when this happened to me and I tried removing it, my steel Vmax died in the process.

That's something like what I figured, damn. I can't really tell from looking at the VMax connector, though. Don't know what exactly I'm looking for.

It's actually not an unusual (or unacceptable) thing to say or type in Ireland UK and Australia too - I actually had to Google the phrase "I reckon" to see what was funny!

Americans can be very peculiar and bizarre about what sort of speech they find funny. Quite the few think the phrase "I reckon" is hick, hillbilly or redneck (but they don't think the same about the "the reckoning" or "a reckoning"). I had an English teacher who marked down a paper because I used the word "commence" because, as she said, "It's something the Beverly Hillbillies would say."

Can you take a better picture of the threads on the vmax? I have done this bofore as well and I was able to get it out using a safety pin and spinning the broken sleeve out. Take the batteries out before trying this though just in case. It can be done as long as the sleeve is not all marred up at the top.
