I'd be a lot happier with my Vmax if it vaped like my Woo.. mod. The PWM is much cooler. When I vape with the Woo, The vapor is thicker, with much better flavor. I have another brand new mod that looks like a Lavatube but uses 2 18350 batteries. That has perfect PWM like the Woo. Smoktech needs to lower that spike at least 1 volt.

Just started to mess with SS mesh so haven't been paying much attention :)

Don't feel bad Opt....I been dealing with SS wicks for a while now and still use the rollin' paper trick, which does work awesome for me so I stick with it, but couldn't tell you a thing about using cotton balls. I just haven't seen anything about it.

Ok, Say you have 3 coils (same wire both examples) and you apply 8.7 watts or 6 coils and apply 8.7 watts and assuming the coils are spaced the same distance apart are you not heating a larger portion of juice? Is this why there is a difference?

That may make a difference with more coil area covered, however, the real difference is the 3 coils compared to 6 coils is still going to be the difference in ohms, and this effects your flavor. Though, a Genesis Atty is also a bit different then a regular Atty or Carto, take a 1.5ohm 510 Atty and a 3.5ohm 510 Atty, and apply 8.7W to each, your vape and flavor is going to be much different comparing the 2. In just my opinion the flavor is going to be better on the 1.5ohm 510 Atty, and on the 3.5ohm Atty your going to get a bit thicker of a vape with a bit less flavor or more muted, both can be great depending on the juice being used in each but different.

I'm currently using 1.7 ohm resurrectors from ccv on my LT ( it's what I first used and liked them ) what should I order for my ss vmax for the best possible "cartomizer" experience ( I use tanks alot too )

801 Fusions and a short 4.5mL Smoktech Tank for them to go in if you want to use a tank.

** Don't forget the 510 to 801 adapter.

I did a 7/6 coil wrap, and the same results! I've been vaping HV for over a year now. This Vmax doesn't even vape good with the duals Smoktech sells! Failure IMO!!

I've had outstanding results on 2.5ohm ST DC cartos in a tank. 5.5v vaping. Problem was, only one of about 5 of those cartos actually worked properly but when I got a good one going it was an exceptional vape with the vmax.

I can't get over the fact that you can get a

SS Vmax with Blue Display/LED
2 sets of Efest Batteries
and a Charger
for $129.55

A similar Set up from Provape
Satin Chrome/Blue LED
Charger
2 18650 Batteries
EXT Cap
Comes to $237.75

That's $108.20 more for the Provari. And that is a Basic Provari order.

I just re-coiled one to 3.4 ohms and its a pretty good vape at 3.7v on the Vmax. Great for chainers like me.
And, like the Stardust, no NR wire needed, Wrap your wick, snip, slide leads into the silicone sleeve and the pin in the bottom end, done. Strong silicone grommets, not fragile rubber.

At those prices, I got 10 clearos and 10 spare atomizer heads.

Ordered 7/29, got them today. 2 weeks from China via EMS.

I'll 2nd that....every now and then I'll use the ST 2.0Ω DC's in a slim 3.5mL with great results....but I've never had a bad 1 yet......knock on wood. At 4.2v on the twin 4Ω coils it's nice and flavor-full.

I used to think the vmax was a great vape till I got a chance to try out a new stacked vv mod. I agree with jimi vmax has too high of a volt spike. This new mod blows away the max
