The same could happen here or anywhere? Desolate forum? you must be joking right??

Honestly if that is not the case sorry :p Guess I need to spend more time checking it out. I asked "am I wrong" because I don't have that that much experience with it. I just know ECF more and know how to look at the history of someone. I guess it could happen here. But I found most people here with a long history don't want to lose it for a small some of money. At least that is what I have found. Sorry for my ignorance on that.

I already have a trust fire TR 1003-P4. Will those batteries work with it or do I have to get a new charger?
IF you mean a TR-003P4 then yes, it'll charge the pairs of IMR 18350s it uses. AW IMR 18350s have button tops and work as they are. The flat top 18350 IMRs at Electronicstix are a bit stronger (more mAh, and No, not based on what's printed on them but with actual 1A discharge runs) but require the small magnets between the two cells to make contact. The same site sells the magnets 2 @ 1$.

If you don't have extensive experience with Li-Ion / Li-Co batts you might wanna stick with the AWs as they are a known brand.

Thanks that is great to know. Ya it is the TR -003P4. :) Do the higher amperage batteries get higher watts with the vmax or is the amperage of the switch the limiting part?

On a regulated mods when people talk about the amperage of the switch... well it's usually the limit of the regulator not really the physical button switch. I'm told the VMax will go to 5 Amp. I've never tested mine at that. I did do a 3A juice burning test using a 2ohm atty at 6v. Way more than I can handle. 1.5 ohm at 6 volts is 4 amps!. As long as you use IMR type batteries (usually red) they shouldn't have any problem feeding the device 'nuff amps to run it to it's limit.

Have a link for an active ECF co op? For that price it is definitely worth trying.

And away we goooooooo ..........

[URL from another forum removed pending ECF ruling]

[Directed to Errol regarding his post with hot link to co-op on another forum]:

We are not supposed to provide hot-button links to this, if I understand [name of moderated redacted] correctly. Trying to get clarification. In the meantime, I'm about to edit my post to remove the hot link. Do as you will.

OK, so I got some feedback from two moderators. What I have been told so far is that we are not allowed to mention or provide links to co-ops on other forums either in open posts or threads or in private messages.

Not that any such co-ops exist, of course.

***

[Reference to a certain futuristic English novel redacted as well since I'm not ready to get banned yet. I would hate to lose of all the hard work that I've put into my posts. Would they all disappear if I did get banned? I'm thinking no, but then I could only look at them? Oh well, maybe that would be good enough. Sorry, just thinking out loud here. And is this post itself a violation? Hell, I just don't know any more.]

***

Damn, I'm so rattled I just confused George Orwell with Aldous Huxley. And I did not just say "George Orwell". Now move along, go home, and take a nice "soma holiday".

Why is it that we can't mention the fact that there is a co-op for Vmax's at Nu-vapor? I didn't see that in the rules. But the rules are so long and tedious, I might have missed something.

regarding your redacted reference to a certain futuristic English novelist, I can only speculate that you were thinking of "A Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley. Another novel with nightmareish visions of society I am thinking of (now that you got me thinking) is "1984" by George Orwell. But he is an American novelist who wrote 1984 17 years after Huxley. Isn't ECF Great!!

That's not entirely correct. Volcano had a contract that either expired or was not honored then lrider offered the product to all usa vendors but could not use the name that volcano used (lavatube)
I read someplace that Volcano had 1 year deal on exclusivity in NA. It expired. The name is probably protected as a trademark or something.

Hey I am glad you are not banned. I like to read your opinions and feedback. Sorry if I got you in trouble. I think what ECF is doing to get rid of spammer and swindlers is great. I understand not allowing the post in threads. But I don't get PMs. Maybe there is a reason I don't get yet. It isn't like 1984 or Brave New World IMHO. They would have to be giving us something Soma to num us or change the past which I don't think they are doing. I am glad to be supporting them. I think ECF provides a great service to the community.

I've got two coming from a co-op for $64 each. If it lives up to the fanfare, $64 is a good deal. But I think two years from now we'll think that is high.
If it's two years I'll be happy! My LT seemed like a deal at $63 not that long ago. If $65~75 isn't the going price for them in 6 months I'll be surprised. I agree with FsckCigs that ST has created a hole in the $89~99 range that will be filled by somebody.

Nice I hope you are right. They look amazing. The thing I don't get is why smoke is demanding such a high mark up? I think that if they allowed it to be sold for less then it would be better for them because of the higher demand.

Yes, I got the two confused. No soma for me for a week.

We are not allowed to PM about [alleged, non-existent co-ops on imaginary] "other forums" because that is considered "spam" and "soliciting", even, apparently, when it is done among friends.

(Is Keys the only one who appears to consider this even a slight infringement of one's basic human freedoms?)

In response to Keysbum:

"I've got two coming from a co-op for $64 each. If it lives up to the fanfare, $64 is a good deal. But I think two years from now we'll think that is high".

And I'm sorry, but this kind of talk about co-ops is against forum rules, and if it continues I'll have to report it lest I be viewed as condoning it and abeting in the violation of those rules.

And aaron, thanks for the kind words, and it's nice that you're sticking up for ECF, which is certainly a fine site overall, but me not being able to send you a PM about a [non-existent, utter figment of my imagination] co-op on another site is just plain ......... (Oops, a violation for thwarting the swearing bot-nanny. Make that two weeks without soma).

Hey, I thought we were friends. What kind of a rat are you? Go ..... y**rs*lf. Do you want to buy a vowel?

edit: and fill in the blanks, as some words are botted even with vowels missing. I thought this forum was for adults.

Well those two things put you squarely in the minority, but thanks. :)

On the novels; yes, ECF is an amazing resource for the Vaposphere, and the tight moderation has far more advantages than to the contrary. The "no PM'ing even to friends" about certain topics is still something I'm trying to feel comfortable with though.

No, of course, all ecig activity exists only here:)

Of course. :)

I've posted this before, but apparently the concept still hasn't made the rounds. You don't have to worry about whether a PV has a good warranty or not. There are places where you can buy warranties for electronic devices, typically 1-3 years, and they're actually pretty darned cheap (I use SquareTrade, which I can confirm is legit and honors theirs). As long as you can provide some sort of link or documentation proving your purchase (Paypal, etc), you're golden.

And thanks for that info you didn't mention regarding that non-existent coop on some non-ECF site. Naturally, I didn't race right over and add my name to any lists for participation purposes. *Cough* ;)
