Smoktech VMax V2 - save settings?

Is it possible, just a rumor or there is such trick?

I don't know of such a trick, but if there is, I'd love to learn it.

Having to reset three separate menu items with that user-unfriendly-multi-click-and-wait-morse-code button pressing after every battery swap---reset display to ON, reset display to Show Resistance, reset Voltage setting from 3.0 to whatever---sure does get old.

The only trick is to be fast at swapping batteries

mine isn't a Vmax it is a Varitube SS to lock the voltage on it you hold both the up & down voltage selector buttons down for about 3 to 5 seconds it locks it so it can't be changed do the same to unlock it. you could try this on the Vmax it works on some of the lavatubes too.

Yes on my Lava is like that, but ...VMax have one-button-click-like-crazy menu

I'm going to try adding an electrolytic capacitor, perhaps 100uF or so to the board so I can retain the memory for at least a minute.
