What is the lowest battery voltage before the zmax will not fire ?

Well it turns out I was close at 3.4. Just now it thru up a "Lou" on the display. Menu option 4 says the batt is at 3.3v. So it vapes at 3.4v and doesn't at 3.3v.

Wasn't the guy who played the Hulk named Lou. Maybe the message means... you're gonna get mad as the Hulk if you keep trying to vape this thing.

When he was the green guy it was Lou Ferrigno. Yea that is what the message means. You cracked the Chinese mod code.

Actually price fixing happens all the time and is not against the law. It happens with golf equipment alot. Ping golf will set a price and if they catch you selling it cheaper within a year of coming out it will suspend your account for awhile. Happens all the time in other things also. I see this as no different. The price will come down soon enough but thats when v2,3,4 hits the shelf.
This and.

If 100 percent markup is what the market will bear then it is perfectly fair. The cost of running any kind of boutique type store is expensive. Markup does not equal profit no one is screwing anyone and no one needs to purchase an item they cant afford. It is mentioned here that the price will inevitably go down and it will also lower the price of other popular mods, so all in all the consumer wins.

Is not price fixing it is contract MSRP. Manufacturers can not afford to be seen as the makers of cheap products and even poor people think that more expensive means better. They create these pricing standards to keep their vendors on a more even keel otherwise you'd see a wall mart situation where they ordered 500k units and sold em for two dollars over cost.

Weren't you suppose to have it like 2 weeks ago when you 1st posted? You might should've bought 1 from a vendor a week ago and you would've already had it days ago.....orrrrrr did you use your ecf ties and powers to be to get 1 free of charge from ST ? lol..lolol. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Ya know when I received mine almost 2 months ago, give or take, I kinda thought it might be fluke. But I have to be honest and say....I'm pretty impressed with every aspect of this device.

He bought a factory sample and when Smok shipped it EMS it got delivered back to Smok. They had to reship it by DHL. He has been waiting a while for it.

Jackbox is correct. It also happens to be Stainless Steel and I was told that most, if not all vendors were initially getting the "Chrome" ones. The shipping snafu just added an unnecessary delay in me receiving it.

I do not get Free stuff, ECF ties or not. I'm to low on the food chain. :)

It's good to know that you've had yours for almost two months and are enjoying it. I will be retiring my Shan mod from Home use and am hoping to use the ZMax as my primary Home device. Here's to hoping it can live up to my expectations.

Anyone with a zmax had any problems? 24 hours after getting mine, I get nothing. Switched battery's, goose eggs. Sometimes the volts or watts will show on the display when I push the button, but no vape :(. I fiddled around with it and if I unscrew my tank to where it gets wobbly, it might fire. Sometimes it shows no load on the display. I've tried anything that I have which will fit and the same outcome.

Any ideas, suggestions?

You screwed your atty/tank/carto down too hard and crushed or snapped the o-ring that seals and separates the positive center post in the connection from the negative. When you screw your atty down fully the + pole touches the - connection well. You'll have to send it back for replacement.

If I screwed it down too hard, then why does it sometimes fire when I unscrew it and the tank it wobbling around? Why does it show no load screwed in, then shows a load screwed off or without making contact?
