Bummer! Do not know what preceded the 510 spinning in the enclosure- could be bad tolerance of the hole or 510. OR could be user error by over tightening the atty or from dropping it with an atty attached. But one thing's for sure- if he was paying any attention, he'd have seen there was a problem way before he spun the 510 so much that it twisted up the wiring.

Don't know which Mini you use, but the 200 is probably going to feel huge in comparison. The more I think about it, the Cloupor Mini Plus is looking better all the time. It's barely larger than the standard Cloupor Mini (1mm wider and taller, same thickness @ 22mm). Waiting on some reviews on it- so far it's a presale deal and I'm not playing that game. FWIW I love my Cloupor Mini and if the Plus is as good, at under $35.00 delivered it's a bargain.
I have the SMY 60TC Mini, I also have the Snow Wolf which does feel huge in my hand while the Mini is perfect. The fit & finish of my Mini is just as good as my Snow Wolf LE, performance is just as good as well. I may sell the SN to fund this 200 actually.

The SMY 60TC Mini is sharp- I like the screen but worried I'd scratch it up because of how hard I can be on a mod. Personally, I should probably not buy any more mods until I install the two Evolv dna boards I got in the co-op a while back into something. Easier said than done, with all the new gear coming out every day it seems...

That display doesn't look like a genuine Evolv board.

Was just thinking the same thing, thats definitely not what the display looks like on my 200/any other 200 i've seen.

So either they didn't have their hands a board and shopped it or they're lying about it being an Evolv board.

I just wish the "SDNA 200, Evolv DNA200 Chip" could be larger and even higher contrast. Like, perhaps even backlit in flashing colors.

Also, It's not redundant enough. I would have rather seen something like: "SDNA 200 DNA200 Mod, Evolv DNA200 Chip!" (and with an added exclamation point at the end).

Perhaps even in a repeating diagonal pattern across the entire mod.

When I look at my new DNA200 mod, I want the fact it's a DNA200, pounded into my skull. There should be no chance that any part of the hand could cover something with the letters "DNA" and the number "200."

Also, I'm glad to see this mod is using "high quality alloys" an not that 6061 T6 Aluminum and 304 Stainless Steel junk.

:D

Okay, now that my sarcastic rant is off my chest, I wanna get another thing off it: carbon fiber.

First, it's not carbon fiber, it's a cheap holographic or lenticular plastic sticker meant to look like carbon fiber (which it doesn't much, even).

Even if it were real carbon fiber, how they're using it would not make any sense. Carbon fiber would make sense used as a structural element for a mod chassis.

So that brings us to why they're doing it, which bugs me most of all: mission cash-grab; the misguided attempt to predict what zef-so-fresh bling, we consumer masses with zero taste, might glom our eye.

There are so few DNA200 choices right now, I wish they'd focus on making them clean, simple and with high quality materials, then leave it to us to put our flashy stickers, wraps and sleeves on.
